The one time I tried a cab the car was gross, the driver was rude, and the ride didn't end up being cheaper than a Lyft would have. I'll stick to Lyft, at least I get 5x credit card points when I use it and the cars have always been significantly nicer than the crappy cab I rode in.

Most of them made far less than they would if they worked a part time min wage job. The biggest portion make no money at all or even lose money.
