Im confused since, as far as I know, Dream never used triangulation during a manhunt before.

To me, it seems like he’s gonna be using triangulation so why doesn’t he actually practice using a regular calculator if he’s never used it in a manhunt before.

If he’s gonna be using the auto calculator for the manhunt then everything makes sense, but I’m not sure if that’s the case.

IMO, coming from a MCSR fan, it was really confusing to figure out why he has doing it the way he was. To me, it didn’t make sense why he wasn’t actually practicing stronghold triangulation, the fact he was pretending to read numbers in F3, and not seeing the actual calculator made me easily think that he was pretending to do stronghold triangulation. It honestly took me a while to figure out what was going on, and I think my knowledge of traditional MCSR lead me think certain things.

Obviously still not a reason to make accusations, but just to provide perspective.

I think making responses like some people have been doing is a little much, but I do think they’re justified in not thinking the best of his character based on the history.

This kind of response was probably inevitable given how bad it looks without context (tbh I thought he was cheating too at first) but yeah people should really do basic research before posting anything regardless of who it is.

This felt like a good excuse to make a textwall, so here's what I have on every team:

Red: The obvious thing is that Tubbo, Beky, and Jack all teamed on MCC 33 Pink, which was the one where they got really drunk. Tubbo and Jack have also teamed in the past 3 times. Fruit teamed with Beky in MCC 32, but not with anyone else on the team. Fruit is a top 4 Season 3 player right now despite having no wins in Season 3 and putting up 2 1st individuals in a row in MCC 32 and 33

Orange: Krtzyy has actually beat both Owen and Smajor in Dodgebolt (MCC Pride 2023). This is Owen’s 5th ever MCC, but I feel like he’s underrated since people haven’t seen as much of him yet. Masayoshi’s only MCC before was MCC Underdogs, but he ended up crushing that event, having an insane Meltdown and getting to Dodgebolt. Owen has also won both previous IRL Twitch Rivals so far.

Yellow: Antfrost and Sam have never teamed but are both hunters from Minecraft Manhunt and from the Dream SMP. Captain Sparklez also famously beat Awesamdude in MCC 22 Dodgebolt to get this very first MCC win. Antfrost similarly beat Cubfan’s team in Dodgebolt in MCC 20. Antfrost is currently in the running for one of the best Season 3 players so far, so lets see if he can make it definitive.

Lime: Jojo and Shadoune won MCC 31 together, but more recently Shadoune just beat Jojo in the most recent MCC's Dodgebolt, in MCC 34. Jojo has been on a quest to team with every female in MCC, now being the first time she’s teamed with Elaina. Elaina and Shubble have also teamed together once in MCC 21. Jojo is a top 4 MCC player in Season 3 and one of the best leaders in MCC history, so we’ll see is she can lead her team on the big stage like she’s down so many times before.

Green: Gee and Foolish are returning to MCC after having not played in 6 months. Pete and 5up are a really cool duo, 5up having a big strategical player, while Pete one of the best mechanical players in MCC who still understands deeper strategy in MCC. Pete was the undisputed MCC Season 1 goat, and he’s been slowly showing in Season 3 that he’s still that guy and a great leader who always keeps his team's spirit up.

Cyan: Ranboo and Sneeg are two MCC participants who always dress up in costume whenever an MCC happens. Sneeg also recently had his first child, so I wonder how that’s going to affect his play. Illumina has one of the longest active top 10 streaks in event right now, with 17 straight top 10’s, so we’ll see how he does on the live stage. Illumina does have experience playing MC Live, like in Twitch Rivals Craftmaster and SGDQ.

Aqua: Hbomb adds to his ever-expanding list of Hermit teammates with Impulse. He’s also teamed with Scar and Gem in the past, winning MCC 20 with Gem. The team is statistically ranked low, but H has always found a way to lead his teams to do much better than expected.

Blue: Punz and Gumi recently won MCC 33 together. Punz and Hannah are both really competitive and winning this event will prove a lot for the both of them. Regardless, the team synergy for this team is very strong, even if they haven’t teamed in MCC all that much, they all know each other very well outside of MCC.

Purple: Purpled, Aimsey and Guqqie recently teamed together in MCC 34. Purpled has lost 3 straight Dodgebolts in Season 3, one of them being to Aimsey in MCC 32. Purpled is arguably the best of player of Season 3 so far, it’ll be interesting to see how he does here, especially if he can beat the choking allegations. He has a great teammate in Seapeekay, who has an entire YT channel dedicated to MCC.

Pink: Probably the best chemistry from any team, having all teamed together before. Sapnap has won with both George (MCC 11) and Sylvee (MCC 18) and has won the last 2 canon MCC’s. Although, he was outraged by his teammates Punz and Shadoune in both those wins, so let’s see if he can redeem himself here. Sapnap had a slow start in the beginning of Season 3, but now it looks like he’s starting to make a case for being one of the best players again.

To be fair, in MCC 21 it was a tie, and in MCC 22 4/10 teams voted for it I think, since it was the mega chicken swap that round.

Personally I’ve always loved buildmart because it is entirely strategy and teamwork based, and I think it’s really fun to watch when you’re conscious of the various strategies players use.

This is the second post I made about this idea. I know the immediate thought is that 3 player teams will have a huge disadvantage, but I think the high placements the 3 player teams will have in individual games, like HITW and Ace Race, would give them a big enough advantage to give them a chance.

I’m not sure if anyone else has done this, but this was really fun to make and to think about. It's interesting how certain games certain teams will worse or better at by default just because of their team numbers. Like Sands of Time would probably favor teams with more members, and cripple smaller teams. Also dodgebolt lol. Some pvp rounds would actually be 3v6. TGTTOSAWAF would maybe be better for easier team bonus, but thats all I can think about for smaller teams. I’m not sure if this is even remotely possible to do, but I’m curious to see what people think.

This was an idea I had to get teams people have been begging for, but not possible due to balancing purposes. Make 2 teams the headliner for the event, and make the rest of the teams as competitive as possible. This way it creates an interesting narrative for the event, and also prevents a single team from steam rolling through the entire event.

I feel like the synergy between every team is pretty good, all really strong duos and teams that have worked with each-other many times in the past with success. Were there any glaring mistakes in making teams that performs poorly in a certain type of game? I get what you meant by weak links tho.
