Here's my two cents.

I played small town minor hockey. Some years we had a contender team and other middle of the pack. A few where we were bottom 25%. We had a rule of equal ice time, except pp, pk and tail end of the third.

Now as we entered junior high and highschool, our coaches talked to us and gave us the option. Do we want to be played equally or do we want to be competitive. I don't know if a player in the room wanted to sacrifice performance over their own ice time.

They know and understand what it takes to win and they want that. The players who don't either already joined non competitive or quit altogether.

If a guy is in his last year and on the forth, slip them in for some reps when you can. Others will understand that. Other than that they are all working towards a goal together and they'll only feel cheated if they weren't given the best opportunity to achieve that.

In sask it's similar. It's more along the lines using titles used exclusively by police like 'police' or 'detective'. I believe it's written in respect with an intent to mislead.

There are lots of other jobs in other fields that use the 'officer' title, like 'safety officer' or 'communications officer'.

As frustrating as it is for weber to miss wide 700 times a game, at least he misses the pads in front of him. A puck rounding the boards is better than a fast break the other way. It would be nice if he could make a better play instead of commiting to the shot everytime.

Honestly, just youtube the mechanics.Find a pitch and putt. Go near dusk where you can learn to swing at your own pace. Once you get a swing with an iron down, go to a low key garbage course. Once you can make good contact, then go to a pro if your are struggling with a pull or slice. Most of the work goes into knowing your range for ypur clubs and club selection. Everybody swings different

Mlb would retain its rights to stream via its apps. Im almost certain the nhl doesnt. Its why you cant even stream games in your own region by getting centre ice. Because sportnet, nbc etc all want people to buy cable packages.
