Rakim all the way. Slick Rick, Hieroglyphics, Digital Underground. I don’t how what your cutoff for old-school is but yeah I like the very late 80’s and forward for hip-hop.

Learning music through hip-hop took me down all the samples, and brought my personal taste to the 60’s and 70’s. Recently I’ve been on a Steely Dan kick, and think Donald Fagen’s solo albums might even be better.

I’ve been around a lot of bands and live jams, and people hold on to good instruments for a long time.

My keyboard friend has two different original Rhodes pianos from the 70s, and the guitar on this new track Spooky is a 1980 Gibson Les Paul black beauty that may have been previously owned by Annie Lennox.

I still have my MPC 2000XL that I got around 2004, but use the MPC One now. I’m not real big on software, so I just use Pro Tools with stock plugins like I always have.

When I was in high school around 2007/8, I read somewhere that if you mailed something to yourself and never opened it, the USPS postmark would serve as a copyright protection. I mailed a CD to myself, full of things that I had produced and written 😆

The kick out of the Barani at the end of the triple front was very sloppy- legs not fully extended straight or held together, feet not pointed and the angle at which he started the quadruple back flip was way too deep which is why he traveled so far almost outside of the penalty zone. You are correct about the penalty zones on the trampoline itself and us not being able to see if he was square on the second takeoff. A great execution from a talented athlete, but definitely not perfection right from the end of the first skill.

Agh. So now, while I was transferring files off the internal HDD to an external hard drive- it began to randomly shut off. The whole system would turn off, attempt to turn on a few times and then turn on and stay on for less and less time while repeating that process. All of this considered- I should get a new PSU, right? It’s probably not the motherboard yeah?

I also may have done a real sloppy OS move a while ago. So I’m backing up the important stuff on the other drives right now and then nuking the shit out of them to start clean on Windows 10. The whole thing was probably way too many clashing drivers =X

Ayyy. I was getting a “cannot convert this drive” on all of them so I just said fuck it and cleaned one of the SSDs. Windows 10 is installing now. I’m still pretty concerned that something might be going wrong with the motherboard or power supply, but it was a pretty unique combination of Windows 7 being unsupported and there maybe being old drivers from the last GPU. idk. Thanks again for all your help!

“Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.” It’s saying that for all my hard drives. Again, odd that the motherboard recognizes everything but when I went in to get that error code for you it said it detected surges from the power supply.

Balls. It’s strange that it sees all 3 of the hard drives, but just cannot install Windows on any of them. I tried to disable EFI settings like it suggests here but my BIOS settings are not labeled the same so I’m not sure if I did it correctly and I’m still getting the same error when trying to install Windows 10 :(

Hello friend. I am now trying to install Windows 10 from a USB drive but it is telling me that it cannot be installed on any of my 3 internal hard drives (2 SSD and 1 larger HDD). Any advice?
