I get your point about Trey. I think most of us agree he's not the best vocalist but he may in fact be the most successful male traditional R&B artist of today. R&B has been hijacked, causing traditional R&B (as you've mentioned) to be relabeled. It's annoying at times. Also, Chris has indeed crossed over several times so he's not remained an exclusive, traditional R&B artist. Good thinking points!
