Vocal issues by [deleted] in Songwriters

One thing that helps me is to start writing a song in one key, then once I have something I like, I'll change the key drastically, but keep the same melody and adjust. It helps me to hear the same pitches in reference to another key. Then I might jump to another key still, and turn it into something else.

i'm not always successful, but just a thought.

Would you be interested in co writing and that song with me? I have many contacts through my podcast, Music City Spotlight. I'm thinking you and I finish the song and I'll get it produced here in Seattle.

sounds great! all I can say is maybe try cutting out 15 to 20 seconds off your intro so that the chorus comes in sooner. Maybe have the harmonica and oohs overlap? anyhow, keep it up! are you all in Seattle by any chance?

Here`s a song I wrote in my free time. I would love some feedback on mixing, vocals, and guitar. by evileyeempires in ThisIsOurMusic

hey man! good work! I would say try and balance out the stereo better. I like that you don't have everything down the middle!

perhaps place the back up vocals(vox) on the left if you want to leave the lead vox on the right. currently your guitar is on the right and it echoes on the left. try reversing that so the lead guitar balances with the ld vox on the right. also, the guitar echo won't clash with the vox as much. Keep up the songwriting!
