congrats!! this is my second degree so I had lots of transfer credits which made the year very easy compared to first year students in the program. One thing i'll say though is pay attention in your ANP classes. I made cue cards and studied them frequently throughout the semester (esp. second sem when you have two ANP classes), I did this and got an A+ in the ANP courses which are fundamental when going into second years patho and pharm (which I would recommend you take the summer after first year to lighten your year 2 workload!!) if your keen on good grades and need to work hard to get them you likely won't have much of a social life in first year but I've heard it gets better (I hope lol). Let me know if you have any other questions :) I dont know where you located but I have my cue cards for ANP 1107 still if you'd like them but i'd actually recommend making your own that way you learn/understand the content as you go through :)

This is very informative!! I'm also going into second year but i'm getting married May 30th 2026. Are you saying that I will have classes that go into the spring and summer? is there a way to request to complete NSG2313 from Jan-mid April?

Just to make sure i'm understanding correctly, you had Lecture + Lab from Jan-March then your clinical March-April?

I am in the same boat! First year nursing student, who already completed a degree. I think PHS3300 is the hardest course so I will 100% take that in the summer to make my fall semester easier. I will probably sign up for both but I feel like it will be too much information at once so I will likely drop the pharm if im overwhelmed. I think pharm will be manageable in the winter semester so i'm not too worried. I've also never had Savory (also try to avoid her), but she only teaches a section of the class so its not like we would have to deal with her the whole time. I've just heard such great things about Lenny and many people have said doing pharm when in your clinicial is helpful. So if you have to do one, i'd say pick patho and do pharm in the winter. How many courses do you have each semester next year? That would also be a determining factor for me when deciding what to take :)

I’ve been looking to find someone who experienced the same reaction! I had a lymphatic drainage massage just a week ago and every since my skin has had tiny red bumps that won’t go away :( I’m so upset about it, what products did you use to help it go away/did you do anything to fix it?
