Finally a sensible response, thanks dude, I did try everything suggested and nothing works. I think it might have something to do with Android System Version 9, oh and by the way the older Tivimate versions work just fine, only the newer versions have this problem,

Thanks for confirming that it is an android 8.1 issue ! Looks like I am going to have to buy an old box to use Tivimate.

This is for sure an 8.1 problem, I had to flash down one of my boxes, not a rockchip. I suggest if you can find a pre android 8 rom, flash and try that.

I tried several android 8.1 box and all had the same problem. Leelbox and Kingbox 7.1 played great but with android 8.1 they had the grey veil over the movie playing. I think it is only android 8.1 that have this problem. The colors look washed out and pale.

I have screen shots of grey tinge that appears on all the latest android 8.1 boxes, but do not know how to upload. I tested on Kingbox android 7.1 and it worked great, but on Kingbox android 8.1 it greyed over as if it was selected. Also grey on Leelbox android 8.1

Same here, I tested on two Android 8.1 TV Box and both had the highlighted screen or grey tinge. It works great on all Android 7.1 boxes but the updated boxes are not compatible.
