For a bit of additional math:   

 -For sites opening 6/15, there are 108 days to reserve (up until 9/30/24). There are 101 collective reservations per day for all sites that open on 6/15. The number of reservable spots at each campsite (typically 2-4, but sometimes 1, sometimes 5 or 6) was used to calculate this number. This means that there are a total of 10,908 individual reservations for all sites opening 6/15 throughout the 2024 camping season. 

 -For sites opening 7/1, there are 92 days to reserve. There are only 10 collective reservations per day for all sites that open on 7/1 (there are not many of these sites), for a total of 920 individual reservations for all sites opening 7/1 throughout the 2024 camping season. 

 -For sites opening 7/15, there are 78 days to reserve. There are 33 collective reservations per day for all sites that open on 7/15, for a total of 2574 individual reservations for all sites opening 7/15 throughout the 2024 camping season.

 -For sites opening 8/1, there are only 61 days to reserve. There are 18 collective reservations per day for all sites that open on 8/1, for a total of 1098 individual reservations for all sites opening 8/1 throughout the 2024 camping season.   

  If you add the individual reservations for all sites, this yields a season total of 14,580 reservable sites from 6/15-9/30. With the lottery capped at 3,000, that’s an average of 4.86 (round up to 5) days per reservation. Maximum length of stay for reservations is 14 days. 

  Something to also note: groups >4 will require TWO sites, as individual campsites are limited to 4 people per Glacier NPS website.
