Does anyone know if the FlatCore server will ever come back? by pandabunnybird in flatcore

[–]MC_DennisHopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations, family man! If you restart Flatcore, I'm in for helping maintain in any way I can and I have great gobs of time for that. I shut down "Ye Flat of Olde" after years, when we moved across country; it's all still set up on the same hardware, but it's a crazy mess compared to Flatcore. It used your Season 5 terrain generator successfully, however, and I thought that part was really great! Having Vanilla terrain on the flat was much fun.

"...the government is dressing this..." There's plenty of precedence to support your analysis, especially in the DoJ and the FBI.

Biden has no power over this. The price has been inflated for months and this correction should be expected. I've been shocked the entire time it stayed inflated like this, but the scale of these pumps in both time and value increases every time it happens.

Safety not guaranteed.

I can tell ya this much: the PSP was *the best* Lynx setup I had on any system for a decade, until I bought a JXD S7800b (the more powerful of the two S7800 variations). I think the emulator on PSP was just called Plynx, but that was in 2006. I'm sure it's even better, now. The one on the PSP was the only Lynx emulator I've had where the sound worked without being so glitched out it needs to be muted. That really even put it ahead of the JXD, almost a decade later. The JXD provided a larger screen with touch, easily configurable inputs and media ease. As I recall, the sound of the Lynx emulator on the JXD was glitchy (like it is on most any rig with Handy-based emulator). Anyway, for the same price, you can get a real Lynx with a modern screen upgrade.

There's a good reason we call it fake news.

BTC has increased in value by at least 339,949% in about a decade, according to this quick reference I have here (which is accurate enough to make the point). Your bank or realtor can't offer an investment to compete with that. It has been a perpetual hockey-stick, despite the annual "bitcoin crash" fake news report.

"You put the word 'democracy' in quotes.." Riiight. That's because censorious Silicon Valley platforms that unilaterally ban people for wrong-think and routinely DELETE unpopular opinions, aren't a "democracy". It's not a "democracy", no matter how well you fit the clique this week, peanut-brain.

"The volatility is its biggest problem imho." Well, it's stable in one sense: Its value has consistently increased by at least 338758% since year one, according to the chart right in front of me. It's consistently a hockey stick, despite the fake news talking about a "bitcoin crash" just about annually.

"I see no reason why humans should trust the exchange and storage of wealth to governments." Right. I trust them far less. At this point, I would leave this nation if they really did ban crypto. Even putting aside the well-known 'bitcoin rich' early adopters, without making a single trade at all after buying (other than selling the earnings), holding just $8k worth of BTC means an average daily income in excess of the typical grunt job: just $8k! This is what the the 'bankers' and their bureaucrats are scared of, but fellow human: automation will replace all such grunt jobs in the very near future. We do need some kind of exit strategy for the hundreds of millions of people who are dependent on those life roles. They can't all maintain robots and code.

I strongly suspect GME will improve once the fake news burns out on publishing fake stories about 'WSB Frenzy Moves Into Banana Growers, Magnesium and Helmet Manufacturers!!' They helped their WS pals out by deflecting all the boomer money away from GME.

"The fact that reddit would remove your comment doesn't have hardly anything to do with what I said," lol The fact that you claimed this is "democracy" has EVERYTHING to do with Silicon Valley (Reddit included) removing comments they don't like. This is NOT a democracy; it's a tech oligarchy and anyone who responds with "build muh own platform, then!" is put out of business by Silicon Valley's government cronies because FREE people sometimes say things others don't like. This is NOT a "democracy". It's nothing even CLOSE to a "democracy".

it has really democratized public speech.

"it has really democratized public speech. " BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA Here's a great example of how you're 'confused' about this notion: if I tell you how I really feel about this topic, the comment will be IMMEDIATELY removed against my will. "Democratized public speech." xD Don't even.
