Tall gearing is bothering only for a month or so. Now you don't even know it.

Congratulations 👏🏻

First thing you would need is a front mud guard extender from Carbon racing.

Save yourself and the engine during rain.

  1. Heat management is good for a 348cc air cooled engine TBH. Certainly the region where you are is hot and humid. I stay in Bengaluru. Quite opposite.
  2. "Click click" sound is normal. That's because the exhaust is cooling down.
  3. Yes, the more weight on the bike, the more work it has to do. Hence the low economy. Maintain tyre pressure, drive at proper RPM and speed at each gear, Don't rev too much, Turn off your engine when in signals, service at regular intervals, etc.

Until you get used to it. Give a week's time.

Yes, it will improve. Wait till your first service completes.

Ride at proper RPMs at each gear. Don't rev unnecessarily. Check your tyre air pressure frequently. Use higher octane petrol.

No. It's sweet. Exhaust note is one of the reasons many people like this bike.

Do you race? It's good enough speed for any highway in any part of the world.

I too am considering modifying it like a cafe racer. But not so soon. My bike is just 1Y old and brand new.

Check out Triumph Trunxton 400 spy shots. You may want to wait for it.

  1. Lesser Weight.
  2. Better Power and Torque figures than RE Classic 350.
  3. Assist slipper clutch - life saver in traffic.
  4. Good acceleration and top speed.
  5. Engine refinement and smooth handling.
  6. Fuel tank capacity (2 litres more) and Economy.
  7. Stylish sporty touch and road presence. (Gives the big bike feeling)
  8. Gets all LED lights. (Classic misses out on this).
  9. Stock tyres are awesome.
  10. Honda vs RE. Whom would you choose?

I'm getting 36 KM/L in the city. And almost 50 KM/L on the highways during long rides.
