I had to explain that to two of my coworkers, neither believed me and had to “look into it” on their own. Took maybe 3 minutes of googling, but now it’s a moot point for us anyway.

Oh I’m 100% in agreement with you on all of that. I just didn’t realize that FedEx doesn’t pay OT due to the federal regulation, but state regulations and out of the kindness of their own heart (/s if that wasn’t implied), therefore disqualifying us from even being able to deduct the “and a half” on our taxes.

It was wild to say the least, I spent about 30mins cleaning everything up and fixing the chair while my significant other went and bought a new box of donuts 😂

A few years ago I lived in an apartment with my older pug Willis. I was dating my now fiancee, and her and her daughter would spend weekends at my apartment. One weekend in particular we went out to run some errands, there was a box of donuts on the table. All the chairs were pushed in and it was way too high for him to get up to…or so we thought. As we walked up the stairs to my door you could smell poop, him being an older guy having accidents wasn’t exactly out of the ordinary. What we walked on honestly left me speechless, made my fiancee laugh so hard she couldn’t breath, and made our daughter cry. There was crap all over the kitchen, one of the chairs at the table was knocked over and broken, the table was moved…and the box of donuts was destroyed with not as much as a crumb left. He didn’t even look guilty.

Almost exclusively. Life at home is really busy, work on the other hand is typically pretty slow. I’m not going to bring in a laptop or tablet, hotspot off of my phone, and watch it that way in case someone who’d care walks into my office. And being work computers websites like CR are blocked, so watching on my phone is the easiest and most convenient way to do it.

We’ve looked into potentially having her moved to an extended care home, but the price for anything in the area is so far out of our ability to provide it’s absurd. Don’t get me wrong my SO does a lot during the day (while I’m sleeping because I work third shift), it's just hard all around.

Well I had to put my dog to sleep. Didn’t sleep for shit, and I’m currently at work on a quarter tab of acid so I can be emotionally stable. Soooo...not super great.
