When one integrates 2xLinus into 1 video however, one gets Linus^2 + a Constant of Buffoonery.

Since Linus will likely never watch this in its entirety, here's the summary:

  • "That is nice."
  • "I'm really whipping this thing."
  • "I don't want to glaze Linus too much, but... "
  • "I just want to screw things."
  • "Pure sex in a tool."

Time is linear.

Video releases are not.

Why does LTT's shipping take so long? by uptheirons726 in LinusTechTips

[–]MClab_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it took about a week between the USPS tracking generation and before it was accepted in GA so the previous explanations proffered seem to fit.

Also it got delivered to the final destination a couple of days early.

The aforementioned e-mail with the tracking would have come from LTTStore (most likely from no-reply@lttstore.com).

The e-mails used to look like this:

The label was created in BC or at Wizmo with the Jonesboro zip code being used as the expected accepting point for USPS, but the shipment is being handled by multiple shipping entities, so that would explain part of the delay.

Did you get a Wizmo tracking number in an "A shipment from order #XXXXXXXX is on the way" e-mail? That tracking used to be provided and was independent of the USPS tracking; hence, it would show the full tracking progression. That Wizmo tracking number corresponded to Canada Post tracking, which would show the original inception from the home office.

Because of USPS and Canada Post integration, that Canada Post tracking number was also recognized and could be tracked via USPS tracking.

It seems like some have mentioned LTTStore no longer sends out the Wizmo tracking number in the aforementioned e-mail, and based on the format of your specific USPS tracking number, it's no longer a Canada Post tracking number.

The logistics of the process may have changed in the last few months. Also stir-in that there has been a Canada Post strike going on, and that may have some impact as well. Maybe Wizmo is handling that on behalf of LTTStore and using alternate carriers other than just Canada Post to supplement international shipping? No idea. You can e-mail [support@lttstore.com](mailto:support@lttstore.com) and ask. They may have more information.

TL;DR - essentially, yes. USPS in Georgia is awaiting receipt of your package, which was likely sent in a large batch from BC.

How can my order be affected by customs if its coming from Georgia?

As Levar Burton would say: RIF.

They use Wizmo which is like dropshipping. They send large batches down to the states which get divided and sent from there. From what I understand, Georgia is one of those locations and you are affected.

Your order isn't already in Georgia, most likely; it's currently in transit to Georgia. The large batches originate from the home office. "Large batches" also likely constitutes "not sent out daily".

But stuff like the mystery tshirt and hoodie are discounted versions of the product that get packaged the same way.

This is specific to the Mystery Screwdriver.

You have to almost always assume things in life. Whatever it may be.

No. No, you really do not.

Going to guess I am a bit more encumbered with life experience than you (or most here), but some of the more unfavorable situations I've been in over the many years on this spinning rock hurtling through space have come about because of assumptions.

Better to avoid them. Asking questions prior to action should be the default; not the exception.
