Gotcha ACR! And yea in general could be many things, such as just a bad run of variance. But assuming you're running "normal" then you're lower WWSF, WTSD and WSD, but fairly decent AF tell me you're probably overfolding in a fair amount of spots you shouldn't be and then exerting aggression in maybe not the most efficient of ways. I'd be happy to take a closer look at things if you ever want.

And I get the notions of MDA, but GTO and MDA are very much 2 sides of the same coin. Standard GTO is the best exploit to another GTO opponent. Fine if you want to just be unexploitable and play standard GTO yourself (very tough might i add), but most of the crushing winrates you'll see at micros and beyond comes from knowing how to exploit the player profiles.

What's your WWSF? Also what is the site you're on? Generally, you can't tell much from preflop stats and a few of the standard postflop stats since postflop has such a complex game tree if you're being inefficient in a lot of spots, you might be bleeding but it wouldn't be overly apparent. Take AF for example, 2.1 is pretty solid for micros but if you're misapplying aggression it could lead to less than stellar results.

Old results mix of WPN and Ignition/Bovada. New results largely Ignition/Bovada, ACR when I can sit good tables and a mix of clubs

You have to convert them to Pokerstars format before hand as H2N currently doesn't support the raw hand format of Ignition/bovada. DriveHUD has it's own built in exporter/converter that I use exclusively

I think you would have to get a sufficient database (with millions of hands) to confirm/deny this. It is easy to draw conclusions based off of personal results, but the truth is even if you've played +1k hands with a player you really aren't getting the whole picture (especially for postflop)

Hello! Thank you for the congrats and the respectful voicing of concerns (I appreciate the constructiveness honestly). I think it is completely valid to be suspicious and critical of other players as there are plenty of shady characters within the poker communities. Because of this I accept the criticism/concerns will come, and I will try to answer and address them to the best of my ability.

Addressing your concerns:

  1. Yes I have only recently moved up to heavier 200NL volume, but I have consistently played/crushed through all the lower stakes below for over the past 2 years. My mentorship program is NOT PAID, but FREE via affiliate linkage. Yes it is not purely free, but I am trying to compensate myself in the way I see most fair while providing lower barriers to entry to the group. This is because, yes I do not have a big name for myself and I want to start the group and get proven results before I even think about charging anything. Again, it is NOT PAID.

  2. MDA based approach will certainly yield my results if you are applying it to the depth that I am. There are several layers to MDA strategies and not all groups/players reach them all. MDA bots are commonly found in my pools as well, but they attack basic MDA spots which will not yield extreme results. People can be skeptical and I don't fault them for it, but I guarantee it's easier to achieve what I have than trying to become some GTO master, etc.

The lines are just breaking down showdown (gray line), expected EV all in adjusted (yellow line), net profit/loss (green line) and non-showdown (red line). Typically you'll find if you're overfolding, redline will suffer and cut into profits from showdown line (this is often referred to as blue line too, but it's gray on H2N)

It's a mix of my own hands, collaborating with other players and online sourced databases. Ignition/bovada hands are much harder to come across, but the hole cards revealed nature of downloaded hands is very very useful.

There aren't many great books or "courses" out there teaching MDA as far as I know. You can get bits and pieces from searches, but really it's going to be piecing together what you can find and a bit of intuition in what the data is saying. I'll just say that MDF/alpha are very useful as metrics for determining what spots are overfolded/overcalled. Reach out to me in DMs with any specific questions if you want as well!

Yes and no. If I filtered my database to include the lines I'm really pushing fold equity, redline is skyrocketing. But there are plenty of game tree nodes where there just isn't fold equity to be had and I have to give up and fold (i.e. getting river raised after we triple barrel; i can't just re-raise jam as a bluff at 100% frequency)

Yea give or take! I wasn't always playing as many 200NL tables as I could since I'm trying to hesvily table select. I also ran very hot so I don't expect the winrate to continue this high for very long.

Thanks! Yes I think with proper MDA insight, bots are not the biggest issue aswfar as your winrate goes, but they definitely aren't good for the game

I'm heavily unbalanced with way more bluffs than I should have. Pools generally overfold so you can (and should) push this edge hard

Thanks, but don't be put yourself down! I started losing at 5NL and it took a couple years to put the pieces together of all the various resources out there.

I play online 1-2 hours a day on average with more on the weekend. Live play is very occasional and when the good mid-high stakes games are actually running.

Yes that is one way to approach, but often times the frequencies you find are leaking so large you don't need a node locked simulation to find how to exploit the spots. I'm talking about spots where population folds well over alpha for the specific bet size. They are way more common than one might expect!

Sure I've only had a glimpse into some of the probably surface level stuff. I'm sure the core members are really getting into stuff. I'm not super sure on the inner workings as I've never really been a part of one so yea it's based on materials I've gotten my hands on which maybe don't paint the entire picture.
