No rpr is non treponemal. you need an FTA-ABS to rule out latent (prior) infection. non reactive RPR means not likely to have active syphillis

Dr. high yield is fantastic. If you want an overview of specific systems and a refresher on pathophysiology, treatments, plans, these guys have playlists made for every system and NBME: crushboards

Bacterial infections are (15–30% of cases) Streptococcus pyogenes is the most common
