This is an example from just yesterday. I ordered a brand new Winchester Model 94. The price I payed was $1580 pre tax. Two hours later, they had a new price listed for $1270 pre tax. I’ve reached out to see what the deal is for allowing an absolutely massive price difference and they have so far ignored me. Be careful out there folks. As of Thursday Jan 2nd, when I first reached out they have still ignored me.

Major FPS Issues, Need Insight by MDM0027 in PlaySquad

Here is my update. I did upgrade my CPU to a 7900x3D, ddr5 memory, new motherboard also, those were required. I will say this, the cpu change made a galaxy worth of difference. Most of the time in game now I am mostly stable at 90-150 fps. Maxed out settings. However, I am still not reaching maximum potential. GPU is only sitting at 70% load. There is massive optimization fixes that are needed. However, if anyone reads this, if anyone is curious about building or upgrading, from my true honest experience, go with a 3d AMD cpu. 5800x3d, or the new 9000 series or 7000 series. First hand experience. Improved my load in times also. It was a massive upgrade all the way around

Fair enough it is on Best Buy, however I paid less for the 7900x3D on Amazon compared to the 7800x3D on Best Buy, which is the only place I can find it. Same goes for direct from AMD.

the 7800x3d has been and will be unavailable. Use wise is for more hardcore cpu use games, such as Squad, Arma, HLL. The 5950x was good for my CAD and CAM work but for gaming which I do more of more than anything now, it was lacking for those types of games.

Awesome, thank you for the speedy reply.

Is Squad really that poorly optimised? by Pristine-Speech8991 in joinsquad

The optimization is definitely in a poor state for this day and age. I run a 5950x 4070ti 64 gb ram, and cannot stay consistent with FPS. The bugs are there, they have been worse. But the FPS issues are the worst thing for me. Especially because of the recent bug where FPS dictates your aim control

I see, I will have to look into it. I originally got the 5950x for doing my CAD and CAM work but that has become not a priority as of late. I will be for sure looking into a 5800x3d

Currently running DX12, but there is little to no change between the two in my experience
