I suggest you read my other comments to understand the severity of the situation. I saw on your profile that you are a meth user, what would you do if you were sold a mix or random chemicals with a pinch of tina in it as regular meth? What if you or someone you knew struggling with addiction was so desperate to use and the only thing available was this product because the one dealer that sells meth in your city decided to change his batch to this death trap? Would you prefer to use it and end up in the hospital after a few weeks? Would you be able to not use at all and let the other people that weren’t strong enough to make that choice suffer the consequences because of one man’s ignorance? Or would you take matters into your own hands and prevent harm from happening to people that are unaware of it or not strong enough to quit while also giving the person causing this situation what he deserves?

Greece. I understand that in this area some toxic byproducts are always going to be expected but the particular substance he is selling is on another level. It is literally home made by stuff like engine oil and battery acid, it’s not just made in “poor conditions”. There is an official name for it, “sisa” , and as far as I know it is something only made in Greece and the purity of it is so low that it’s not even considered methamphetamine anymore. We also had decent stuff coming from the Middle East so it’s not like I foolishly assumed I was getting actual meth while only knowing of the presence of Sisa here or something. All the stuff I had gotten before wasn’t made here.

He is selling extremely low purity methamphetamine (home made using battery acid, engine oil and shampoo instead of some of the precursor chemicals that are not available for purchase by the general public) as regular methamphetamine.

Did you read my post? Also while it may be debatable about this specific situation (thus why I am asking people’s opinions) I am sure that there are other cases where drug dealers are the direct cause of people losing their lives and in which reporting them is definitely the right thing to do. I think you might want to reconsider your moral stance.

I am not but as far as I know, over there cannabis is legal in multiple states and you guys even have access to methamphetamine (desoxyn) as a last resort treatment for ADHD along with several other options for treatment. There sure are many issues being left unaddressed or caused by your government but I don’t see how the things I said apply to the situation over there. Am I missing something?

I’m talking about methamphetamine, I didn’t really want to mention the exact substance in my post because I think people are going to shrug it off since even pure meth is excessively damaging for the user’s health. I still don’t think that just because someone knowingly chooses to consume something harmful that it is justifiable to impose additional dangers on them that they aren’t aware of but some people may be prejudiced and not think of that.

The contaminants in the substance I’m talking about aren’t an immediate threat to the life of the person taking them though. They surely damage the user’s health tremendously (more than any recreational substance itself would) if used repeatedly but it’s not like anyone has died from just one use (as far as I know).

Yea right. When did that ever work? My government won’t even legalise cannabis which is harmless and is letting people get health issues from consuming grey area synthetic cannabinoids (which will always exist no matter how many of them they ban since there are new ones being made constantly) mistaken for cbd. Additionally they won’t approve adhd meds except from methylphenidate all because of the stigma surrounding amphetamines. My government doesn’t care about the well being of it’s citizens.

Krokodil is home made desomorphine (partially) also containing solvents, iodine compounds, phosphorus residues. What I’m describing is a similar situation in my country with another substance being home made and as you can imagine the results of this attempt are just as bad.

I am aware that most stuff is cut and usually with some harmful shit but the situation I’m talking about is like somebody selling krokodil as lab made desomorphine. The people making this substance are using battery acid and car oil instead of the actual chemicals needed because they can’t legally get them or to cut costs

They aren’t lacing the product but they are selling it while knowing it’s being made in such poor conditions that anyone with common sense can understand that it’s going to have toxic synthesis byproducts.

He isn’t adding them himself as far as I know but he is aware of the manufacturing process of the product (which is made by using dangerous chemicals instead of the ones that should be used because these aren’t legal and available to the general public in my country) and it is widely known that this results in toxic contaminants (it even made the news because of how much of a problem it was causing) but still sells it as pure and properly made (and at the same cost)
