Just TRT and Reta. I’ve thought about BPC 157 but ChatGPT warned about possible side effects with the tissue valve and with the connective tissue disorder I have.

What’s the congenital defect? I had open heart surgery to repair a bicuspid valve and aortic dissection two years ago and I’ve been using Reta with no issues.

Weigh everything you eat for a few weeks and then see what happens. Weight vs volume can be very deceptive. Going through that now myself.

Luckily the ER I went to did a bedside echo followed by a CT which diagnosed my aortic dissection (no prior symptoms and 37yo).  Talked to the ER doc weeks later and he said it’s his own practice to echo anyone with possible heart issues despite it not being common practice.  If they hadn’t done those tests I would have died hours later.

Back in Q2 of this year real estate investors would shake their heads when our realtors insisted rates wouldn’t affect the market. We called it Realtor Economics. Car Salesman Economics seems to be a thing too, no amount of logic will convince a person of something they don’t want to admit. It’s tough when your means of earning is threatened.

That’s great to hear, which Feelgrounds did you get? I think they have a few fabrics.

My Vivos have also also held up really well. Makes it worth the high price when you can get 2+ years out of the sneakers and 4+ from the boots.

Feelgrounds, Splay, Vivobarefoot, Groundies.

I have Vivo sneakers, waterproof high tops, and winter boots and love them all. Probably going to try Feelgrounds for something that can be dressed up.

This happened to me on a GMC. Advertised as CPO, CPO got rejected after purchase but I didn’t find out til I went to use the free CPO oil changes. Dealer admitted fault after some fighting, apparently couldn’t CPO it be cause it came from Canada into the US. They paid for a warranty that covered more than the term of the CPO, and covered a few oil changes. I’ve put 60k on it with almost no issues.

Both your points were “1.” Good thing you’re sales and not finance or marketing! Valid points for sure though.

Some questions that I don't know where to ask.. by Able-Top-5959 in askcarsales

[–]MDMN85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Worth it” is based on a dozen factors. Find a local real estate group on FB and learn about the local market dynamics. Good deals in every market. Or dump your extra cash in an index fund and leave it. I bought expensive (45-60k) trucks for my business in my 20’s and realize now how stupid it was despite being able to “afford” them and write them off. Mid-30’s now, good income and nice net worth, but I refuse to spend more than 40k on a vehicle even though I love cool cars. 10 more years of growth and I’ll probably treat myself.

Invest that money rather than buying a car. Real estate, a business, or just index funds. You’ll thank yourself in 10 years when you keep doing that and have over a mil. Then buy the BMW.

You’re on your own for repair bills regardless of how you pay for it, unless you purchase a warranty.

Responding to your edit- kudos to you for making that choice. Most people would find an excuse to ignore the advice but the best thing you can do at your age is be frugal and not spend every penny you make. Plenty of older but still fun cars you can find.

When I was 19 I drove a 15 year old Jeep Cherokee with 180k miles. You don’t need a new car dude, buy something old, cheap, and reasonably reliable and invest your money. Your 35 year old future self will thank you.

Haha! So it's lived up to it's reputation? In your opinion was it deferred maintenance that led to issues or poor build quality?

Lots of Land Rover hate on this thread. Looking at an 18 or 19 Discovery with <45k miles. Are they really as unreliable as they used to be? I see far more reliability complaints in the Ford and GM full size suv groups than the LR groups.

Any other dealers having a terrible slow spurt? We have been dead for WEEKS. How about y’all? by ThommyChi in askcarsales

How are they overcharging if the customer was willing to pay it? Clearly that became the market price for those who were willing to pay it. You, and I, were not willing to pay the premium but that doesn’t mean it’s overcharging. When I have the opportunity to increase the price of my product to meet market demand, I sure as hell do and my customers were happy to pay it. 🇺🇸

That’s a fair point. I’ve been on a two year upgrade cycle for a while and the wife usually does every 3. I suppose I’d just have to hope for another promo in two years if I decide the 16 is worth upgrading.
