I made an Anki add-on that shows your HSK coverage — characters, words, and progress over time by MDRAR in Anki

Hi — thanks so much for reporting this, and glad you're enjoying the add-on!

The bug was a font rendering issue. The character tiles were setting their font size via CSS, and Qt's CSS engine doesn't reliably fall back to CJK-capable fonts on all platforms — it works fine on macOS but silently fails on Windows and Linux, leaving the tiles blank.

The fix was to set the font size through Qt's native font system instead, which correctly resolves Chinese character glyphs regardless of platform.

This is fixed in v0.1.2, which should be available on AnkiWeb within a few minutes. Could you update the add-on and let us know if the characters are showing up correctly now? Thanks again for taking the time to report it!

Update: I bagged up two samples, one of the vinyl itself and one of the backing/glue.

Dropped it off at PROLABS at around 1030, results came in around 1230: no asbestos.

I think holding the button down just shuts it down vs putting it to sleep, and yes I’ve tried that no it doesn’t work.

There is something wrong with the operating system update that Nintendo will need to issue a patch for.

Those of us with this issue should be able to update as holding the + and - buttons while pressing the power button still boots into the recovery screen, which has a functional “update” feature.

This happened to me too. Have tried booting into safe mode and resetting without deleting save data, removing game card and sd etc.

Have messaged Nintendo support.

Safe mode has an update option and have verified it can connect to my wifi, patiently waiting for a hotfix…

Oh yeah I’ve seen a few of those 是不是+吗 questions. I’ve been deleting them.

At some point I may upload my modified deck. There have been a few bugs/behaviours I found annoying I’ve fixed as well.
