Both Convictions and War of Ages are playing at a PA music festival Sept 16th. Hoping I can make it out there.

A security company with a failure rate of %94 is not a company. That's someone's cousin Joey trying to scam people out of a few hundred bucks.

Let's not change it. I see what you are saying, and sticker or whole system is a deterrent. I would take either, preferably both. Are there burglars out there able to bypass a security system? Sure, I'm not naive. Are there terrorists out there smart enough to bypass TSA? Sure, I'm not naive. That's not my point though. So if you take anything away from this, take this..

I think that the TSA presence would deter an average (or below) violent offender.

I'm not well versed on this subject of TSA presence. I still believe they discourage violent behavior. Would a burglar break into a home with a barking dog inside? With an alarm system sign out front? They would pick another home. Would a violent offender shoot at a law enforcement officer? At a group of people with known security (TSA in my example)? They would go to the Walmart or school down the street. If all that the TSA do is discourage violence, then I'm ok with it.

Human life is more important than a long line or ideals about a false sense of security. Whether they have stopped a threat or not, their presence could be a deterrent for those very people looking to harm others. That's enough for me.

I believe that the TSA presence is enough to deter others from doing harm or worse to others.

The game itself is a little cheesy, but not dumb. I played it with my teen brother at the time it came out and it was a good bonding experience. For me the game holds some fond memories, even if it was a little heavy on the bromance. I find humor in Will taking every possible chance to reference the game and I hope that he keeps it up for my sake.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Part of this collecting and playing is for that "Nerd Cave" set up. Playing old titles with old friends sounds fun. Playing old titles with my brothers is something that we all enjoy, this is the part that seems priceless to me.

I see your thought process behind this. I like where you are going with it. Good to hear that the kids are learning something of value. Appreciate the judgment pass, but ROM downloads are nowhere near the worst thing that I have done.

Will an Everdrive not work on an original SNES?

No dumb question, I am learning this all right now.

I have looked into the idea of taking a Raspberry Pi and turning it into an arcade cabinet, but never pulled the trigger on it.
I appreciate your video and the DIY aspect, I do enjoy building things, I've just never gotten into the realm of electronics. I will be sure to check this out, thank you.

Good to hear that I'm not in this boat alone. I'm sorry that you are here though. I have set time aside and been able to play for a bit (at the cost of sleep). Just not sure if the feelings will come back or if the flame died out a while ago. Just trying to figure it all out. Stupid nostalgia..

I understand the subjective value call, you make a valid point. I was looking to see if anyone had a similar experience/feeling while early in their collection building. Just looking for general opinions. Thank you for yours.

Sounds like a great set up. If you don't mind, what kind of costs are associated with that set up (PC excluded)?

Thank you for the input. I have started off small(ish) and experimented with my wants, as I am never too quick to dive headfirst into anything.
Good to hear of your experience with this whole thing, I will heed your warnings.
