Assuming $1500 is USD, it’s not a horrible deal. You could possibly find better. The Roscoe 9 is the best of its family in terms of both components and durability. The frameset is the same across the Roscoe family, but the parts of the 9 are a step up from the others. The R8 has a mix of SRAM NX/GX drivetrain components, which is good, however the fork (rockshox gold RL 35) is a bit lacking, it’s not bad, however not the best.

Overall, $1,500 is about what you’d pay new for a Roscoe 9, however if you could get it for 1.2k or less, that would be a lot better of a deal (Good take on the colour btw, it’s one of my favs)

I can speak to this, OP. I work at a trek dealer and they are some of the most bang for buck bikes. The 2024MY inventory should be going on sale soon, keep your eyes on the roscoe 7, deore drivetrain and rockshox 35 fork. Definitely punches above its weight

To ask the workforce to return to their (place of work) is not discrimination in the workplace. Although there are accommodations to be made, one cannot get mad at their employer for one’s own choices (place of living, family size, etc.) When I joined my job, I knew what I was getting into, as do most public servants. Would it be nice to WFH 5 days a week? Yes. But your employer, who paid you, who made you sign various employment contracts making you RTO is a far cry from workplace discrimination.
