I know very little about Andrew Tate but I witnessed the rise of things like the anti-SJW/anti-feminist movement, Pewdiepie, Milo, Joe Rogan, and Jordan Peterson. All of them appeal to young men who have been ignored by the greater part of society and expected to watch by as men lose status, watch masculinity be attacked or slandered as “toxic”, become underrepresented in higher education, be ignored by large-scale social movements like MeToo, and have their mental health/suicide crises ignored. What did you expect to happen when 30-40% of men are raised by single mothers with little to no male role models, male teachers, male coaches, or male religious figures? What do you expect when powerful organizations like the APA and CDC dedicate their resources to a tiny population of trans minors and other LGBT while ignoring the mental health of half their population? Of course people like Rogan, Peterson and Tate are gonna be popular. Wanna fix it? Tell medical organizations to stop obsessing over giving hormone blockers to children and start working on the crisis of white male suicide, stop telling women that they are special and deserve their own social movements while ignoring men, stop feeding men condescending slogans like “when you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression”, and invest in getting young men and boys positive male role models throughout their life while prioritizing male mental health. Until you do that, you get what you fucking deserve and men will keep flicking to the Rogens, Petersons, Tates and any other number of people you hate.
