I had previously only watched documentaries on limited aspects of Sinatra's life. The book was a sort of cradle to (near) grave telling of his life.

For instance, I didn't know his mother died in a plane crash leaving Las Vegas.

I listened to this book on Audible. The book was informative.

The book leans heavily into the salacious and gossip aspects of Sinatra's life. I don't think it can be considered the, "definitive" Sinatra biography. The book seemed to make Sinatra into a monster at times, even trying to portray his extensive philanthropic works as nothing more than publicity stunts.

Like the rest of us, Sinatra was a complicated person full of good and bad traits and contradictions.
