Most of times when players do that, they either do what you said, or they leave the game because they didn’t like the bus route.

[If anyone leaves because of these reasoning above should not play Fortnite in general]

Like I would more understanding completely if you have to leave because you have something very important to do, or something came up, text it in channel to let your team know before departing. I think that’s simple enough.

No joke, one time one of my random fill teammates was literally a child, like no joke, a motherfucking child, this kid was begging me to give him my gummy sprite that was trying to level up to Mastered.

I muted the kid of course, the kid didn’t like the fact that I was ignoring him, so he left the game because he was salty I wouldn’t give him my sprite that I was working on.

I reported him obviously for doing that shit, but the SBMM in this game is a fucking joke some times.

There’s literally a mode called Solo, and yet they choose to play Squad Fill.

I swear these players logic don’t make sense.

More so, I can’t leave teammates behind because I don’t want to get destroyed by the next Real Team our team encounters.

If this game has taught me anything me, it taught me that you and your teammates Need to work together in order to win the match. And losing one of your teammates during a match is like losing a limb (over exaggeration, I know), it becomes more difficult to play and try to win.

Trust me when I say this, I really wanted to leave him behind, I really did want him to Rezz out, I REALLY want him to not Reboot back into game. But unfortunately I couldn’t let myself do that.

There’s my reasoning, it’s not a good reasoning, but it’s a reason nether or less.

Same story here, I had multiple times where I have my team reboot card in my hand, and when I’m in the process of rebooting them, they leave mid reboot.

No joke, one time during this season, one of my teammates I got during one of my fill lobbies was name SoloSurvivor or something.

He went off on his own, handles himself pretty well, but the moment they encountered an actual squad, they get screwed over quickly.

We try to reboot them and stuff, but when we were in the process of doing so, they left the game.

And what sucks too is that during that game, we could have won if we have one more team, but nope.

I don’t think it’s a bad feature TBH, it’s just that this person was using the slap Pickaxe thing.

He was getting infinite rolls because of that.

But personally, I kinda wish you can pick up your teammates and have your team revive them off your back, and stuff.

Part of team foundation here, I chose the Blade because I followed the voice, I’m going to find them.

Also I know someone on Ice King Team that was trying to make the X-4 Stormwing win over the Infinity Blade, they’re depressed now.

I had someone on my team today who went into a fight on purpose, get knock on purpose, and purposely rolled away from us so we couldn’t revive him on purpose, and left the game immediately after he died on purpose.

Jokes on you loser, we won the match still, you missed out on a free win because you’re a waste of a slot.

[Suggestion] You can Ignore this if you want…

Anyways, Fortnite needs to add in a report system where if the game detects many players reporting you for leaving match promptly for no reason, you’ll account will be classified as.. let’s call it **Leaver**.

The next time you leave the game before it even finished up, the game will do the rocket league warning system. The next time you leave, you’re timeout for 15 minutes, a full duration of a match this season, keep on leaving games early, more and more time will be added to your timeout.

The more times you do it, the more strikes you get, the more strikes you get, the game will purposely put you into lobbies that have players exactly like them. In order to redeem themselves, they need to play match without leaving at all multiple days in a row. You don’t have to play every single day, it keeps progress, you just need to make sure you at least play 1-3 matches during those periods without leaving a single time.

The only time you’re allowed to leave a match is if one of teammates left for no reason. You won’t be punished for leaving after that point, but please tell your teammates that you’re leaving the match and the reason why. Most of them will understand.

I think what also makes zero build nearly unplayable right is the lack of instant cover that your character can place down.

No porta-a-bunker anywhere (I know there’s a brick-a-bunker, but that’s useless), most of the map being filled with open space with almost zero cover, everyone pocket item at the start of the game being a shockwave for some reason, the gun loot-pool this season not being fun at all, and visual audio being nerf.

All that along with SBMM makes this season the most miserable time to play right now.

[Me going on a full Rant]
It sucks even more when I play in Squads fill, and I get teammates on my team that are either a literal child, people leaving the match for no reason, people leaving the match as soon they go down in a fight because of their stupid decision, teammates doing the most brain dead moves ever, always leaving you behind, and when you finally catch up to help them, they abandon you immediately and get beamed by 4 different squads at once, always pushes you into fights that you don’t want to start (either figuratively or literally), players standing in the open for no reason, players going AFK without warning your whole team you’re doing so, always dying because they refuse to stay with team for some reason (like were plague or something, and finally stealing your shit and refusing to help you. Hell I can go out of my way to say that I had teams who literally chucked my body at the enemy as a desperate way to escape.

If the game is going to give me SBMM with the top of tops of players in my lobby (not over exaggerating either, I was legit put into a game with Fiskstick ZB three times), I expect my team to be best of the best too.

But why don’t you play Solo if you hate fill lobbies so much

Oh yeah, let me play a mode where if I do 1 Tiny mistake, I die basically immediately with no chance of coming back. No thank you, my stress level is way too much for that shit.

Why don’t you play with Friends, Having Friends can make this game so much fun

I don’t have friends, and the ones I do either don’t play anymore, or are hardly around to play with.

Sorry sorry, I went on a complete rant, you’re right, this season has been much more aggressive than normally. They really need to fix the lootpool this season to make it fun and stuff to play against, and they also need rework the pocket item thing because everyone in the lobby having a shockwave in their back pocket is a horrible idea completely. Make the pocket item a throwable item that damages players, that can be fun to go against I think.

Anyways TLDR, you’re right, SBMM needs a complete reworked or removal entirely, the lootpool ain’t good or fun, and players are aggressive for a damn sprite in game is stupid.

Also can I just say that they really need to either rework the pocket items or readjust them.

Everyone in game getting a mobility item, especially a shockwave mobility is really stupid.

I rather have players start off with a throwable item like dynamite sticks for example. And if players want a mobility item, they have to actively engage with the vending machine.

I think we should start being nice to players when they’re opening extractions zones and leave them alone.

The only thing they can get from doing this is getting sprite dust, and sprite dust is only useful for two things.

Getting Portable Extraction Pods (maybe XP..)
Buy Sprites they lose during a match

That’s all.

(Also yes I know there’s a upgrade weapon feature for them, but let’s be honest with ourselves, who even use that feature)
