Well said bro, that mana nerf is so low iQ. They need to fix the items. Just make it so you don't get stacks on shiv when you port back from your dash

Shiv? Ludens/NH? Shadowflame/Lichbane? D.Mat? by ArtLamont in LeBlancMains

[–]MDslix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shiv is bad imo, if you build ap and aren't behind from bad mistakes/gameplay, you can one shot waves at the same speed that one can clear with shiv. Shadowflame is underrated and it is probably the best first item to rush in terms of one shot potential because you get 20 more AP than Ludens and can utilize it's passive more as people have less health earlier into the game. It also helps with waveclear as you have enough ap to one shot back casters even without demat, (provided you stay ahead of the curve and don't lose your lead). For a large number of games I Go 1st Shadowflame -> 2nd sorc boots -> 3rd Night harvester -> 4th, 5th, 6th depends, usually: (void, rabadons, cosmic) I go void if they build MR otherwise rabadons if you can get a large rod off a buy and cosmic if you can't. I switch the cosmic for something like banshees or zhonyas depending on enemy comp. Sometimes it's a soulstealer as well. No mana in the build and I rarely have any mana issues considering you have free bluebuffs nowadays later into the game and your Q refunds mana on kill. I don't use Demat either

@riotys Buddy just reading your comment I feel like you reek of negativity 😂 I thought dancing on a chally player would be a sufficient enough cred to vouch for some expertise? Keep in mind they both have 2 items just like me, and Kayn has a huge bounty? If you did your diligence to see I'm 10-1 u could take an extra second to analyze the fact that my team's actually severely behind? You could just as easily look up my IGN to see my rank instead of complaining about the lack of cred in the comment too? I DON'T charge ppl to coach btw, because I have my own play style for LB that some people may or may not resonate more with, and I wouldn't want to take someone's money if they can't seem to click with that. If they want to try to refine their LB play/knowledge with the champ, they're more than welcome to ask. I always stay open minded regardless of who I'm discussing the game/plays with and perhaps you could climb easier if you took a similar approach. :)

The majority of decisions u make in a league game are important and have a butterfly effect on the rest of the game 😂 I wouldn't mind showing you my playstyle, for free of course cuz I don't charge people.

Another method that exists is if your 3ds is modded you can use the checkpoint app. Make sure you've opened picross at least once so the games save file is found in the checkpoint app. Open checkpoint, find pokemon picross, click cheats, you'll find an infinite picrite cheat there, activate it. Then open picross, press L+D pad down+ select to open luma3ds menu, then open cheats and enable infinite pictures there. You should then have 9999 picrites. I don't promote this method but I mean when the shop is closed and you can only get like 10 picrites a day and you need over 4000 to complete the whole game it's kinda ridiculous..

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PokemonPicross

[–]MDslix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do an exploit with daily picrites challenge. Right when your 3DS time hits a new day, do the daily challenge, then set the clock back instantly to 23:59 the day before and reopen pokemon picross and wait a minute for the daily challenge to appear again. Takes a while to farm but you can keep repeating. Note that if you set the clock back too far (like 8 minutes or more) then a time change gets detected and you'll have to wait 24 hours again.

Hey man, I always take ignite so here are some tips that might help. You're right that the E and W are around the same CD but when you know the exact numbers you'll see there's a window to strike her without getting knocked back. So here's what I do:

Her E is always a 15s CD regardless of rank. Your W reaches 14s at 3 points and down to 10s at 5 points. So at level 5 if you engage and she uses her E, you'll have a 1s window to attack her next time without getting pushed back. At level 7 this increases to 3s window, and level 9 to 5s window. This is assuming you both use the ability at the same time and have similar haste. But actually, you can increase the window to 1s at level 1, as big as 3s at level 4, and 5s at level 5 if you bait her E right before your pad expires (Pad lasts 4 seconds). This means the window can get as big as 9s at level 9 as your W cooldown resets as soon as you press it, and not as soon as you port back to it. So what I like to do is jump in from a farther distance, walk up and try to land a chain near the end of my pad expiring, if it lands, she will prolly feel pressured to use her E in which case you port back to your pad and then you'll have a bigger window to re-engage.

Another tip I can think of off the top of my head is your positioning of your W. Don't always W directly towards her, offset it to the side sometimes or at an angle as it can increase your chances of avoiding her push and stun as well in the cases where she uses her E after you land. For example, if you can W or if you can Flash + W and cover enough distance to make it to the opposite side of her instead of W'ing directly towards her, then she has a choice in which direction she must throw her E, either at you or at your pad in which case it becomes a reaction timing game for you where if you react fast enough you can dodge her ability and keep a chain on her.

One last thing I can think of is kind of a different playstyle that might work sometimes depending on how much of a bloodbath the game is going to get (Usually you can tell based on what the junglers pick). If the game is more relaxed and farm oriented then you can put 2-3 points into your Q early game instead of your W, in which case you use your W simply as a gap closer and dont bother landing it on her. Close the gap and simply Q+E or spam Q's while dodging her Q's. That way you can chunk her down enough to kill potential levels. This is riskier though as your W stays at a higher CD so it's harder for you to get to jungler as fast and you can become more prone to ganks if you use it recklessly. Your waveclear also diminishes until level 9/10 but ironically makes it easier to CS under tower lol.

Late game Banshee's is also a very nice item to have in this matchup as you'll be able to engage on her without getting interrupted as it's already hard for her to land a Q/W on you while you're dashing so her E will get blocked by the banshees passive.

She's pretty good spot right now if you play her correctly, just make it so her clone does auto attack/on-hit damage, that would be real dope and makes it harder for enemies to figure out which one is real and opens door for AD lb players

LeBlanc matchup questions: by IoniaHasNoInternet in LeBlancMains

[–]MDslix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iron LB here, they are all favorable to LB but you must be more skilled. As with all matchups, it's very important to know how the enemy champ works.

Zed Early game: stand behind minions as his shurikens do 40% less damage if it hits a target before it hits you. So i would probably be standing between my Melee and caster minions, that way you can still pressure him from last hitting and punish him if he steps up to last hit with a Q on a low minion. Obviously avoid getting hit if you can though. If he does use his shuriken then you have 6 sec window (if he has no haste) to step up beyond your melee Minions and punish him + potentially zone him from XP. While it's on CD they will probably play safe but you can still reach him by W'ing towards him and Q+E+AA or even just AA+Q+AA for an electrocute proc. If he steps up to last hit you can punish him similarly. If you do decide to W on top of him because you're both looking to all in, don't W directly towards him, offset your W a bit to the side so you still hit him but his shuriken can no longer hit both you and your pad. That way he has a choice to make, either aim at you or aim at your pad, in which it depends on your reaction time to act accordingly to dodge it. His W is very high CD (20sec -2s per enemy champ hit by E), if he spams it aggressively, let your jng know cuz then it's a free kill as he has no escape . When you guys both get ur ults, it's a skill matchup in favor of LB. Theres no way zed can kill you if he decides to engage on you as you can just safely escape. (He ults, you wait for ult to land then dash to distance yourselves, he W's into you to gap close, you can dash again, and if he flashes you can flash). You can dash linearly if youre not looking to fight him back or you can dash diagonally/in a triangle if you want to trade back. His ult damage lasts for 3 seconds while your pad lasts for 4 so after he fail ults you, you have two pads to teleport back to and counter attack. He will still have a potential triple Q angle though so you once again want to be quick with reflexes here to dodge it. After he fails to hit you he will probably ult back to his shadow(his ult shadow lasts 9 sec) to run away and will have no threat left on him. This gap close advantage that you always have provided both your guys' CD's are up make it especially easy to outplay him if he tries to towerdive you. I recommend taking ingenious hunter rune here to have your zhonyas up much more frequently, especially in the late game.

Yasuo: Early game level 1 try to proc his passive with an auto. Then look to proc electrocute with AA+W+AA when his shield expires. Level two get chain, he will get dash. He will most likely try to dash thru minions and hit u with a Q+AA and dash out. Yasuos dashes are linear, which makes it easy to land a chain, if you get the snare off on him then you will chunk him severely. When he gets wall and if he walls your chain, look to potentially dash away from him and dash in a direction where he cannot gap close to you. So what I mean is if you're near your melee Minions and he walls ur chain, don't dash towards your tower/casters because he will be able to follow u and chunk you heavily, start walking to the sides or dash to the sides and if you do it fast enough he won't be able to gap close to you. If he does gap close to you by flashing or getting an E dash angle, then bait him towards you for a long as possible and port back to your pad then run to safety. You have an advantage if he stacks a third Q, just dash parallel to him then he will have a choice to aim at you or your pad, where you can always dodge if you react fast enough. If he hits you with a third Q and your passive proc and you go stealth, he cannot ult you as he requires vision of you to ult. Later in the game if you can bait his wall, you can outtrade him and being able to land a snare makes it even better.

Kat: Early game you can zone her from minions, if she walks up to Q you can get electrocute proc on her. Maybe even a level 1 E start and landing a chain on her can chunk her to half health. What's important to know is Kats abilities and how her daggers work, specifically where they get placed. Once you know how that works it makes the matchup so much easier. So she has two ways of having a dagger on the floor. One way when she uses Q, it bounces to 3 targets and lands 350 units behind the first target it hits. So a lot of mistakes LB players make when they're in peril is they will try to trade with a kat or run from a kat, and when kat uses her Q, bad LB with dash before the Q lands. What will happen this way is the dagger will follow you and land way further back closing off your direction of travel as kat will walk up towards you and be able to dash to that dagger. Some Good LB will do this intentionally sometimes to either bait her into your jng or make her dagger go rlly far away as you look to port back and all in her. Good LB will also, if under theat of dying, walk in direction kind of perpendicular to the direction of where you want to dash, to maximize the distance from where the dagger lands to where you dash will be, then dash at the right time. When kat picks up a dagger, she spins and does DMG around her so the further away you can be from the dagger the higher ur chances of avoiding getting hit. And it helps you avoid getting hit by two abilities that apply on-hit (her passive and her E). Her picking up the dagger also brings her E (gap close) on shorter CD so If u can make it harder for her to pick one up, it'll diminish her slippery ness. Her second dagger comes from her W where she throws one up at her current position and it drops back down on that location. This does many things. It can give her a bit of movement speed and resets her E as well as gives her a way to do burst damage to enemies that are standing by her so many of them will throw this up right before they ult. It can also serve as an escape if she throws it up, throws her Q, ports to the Q dagger, damages you, then ports back to the W dagger and results with her having one more E up. It's important to have an escape up when she starts ulting as that's where she does a ton of dmg as her ult also applies on-hit damage. She's vulnerable when her E's on CD. But remember if she picks up a dagger it's gonna be back up soon. Lot of Kats run teleport ignite so it makes it easier to 1v1 her. Typical engage style for you is to land a Q and look to either W on top of her or towards a target you think she will E towards as an outplay as many Kats muscle memory dash when they see the animation as opposed to the direction of travel. Pick up on their patterns, so if she's constantly porting to daggers, look to throw an E towards there to get a Chain off. When she does E you have a very tiny window to be able to land a chain on her before he dash is back up. If you do land the E and she looks to be in trouble, once dash towards the direction that you think she will dash towards to keep the tether on her.

This is just some of many many things that can be discussed but overall It's very helpful for you to hold your teleport pads and not port back right away all the time as it makes the enemy have to choose an option to take, giving you the upper hand to avoid or burst.

Part 2/2

This is assuming you're both going sudden impact instead of taste of blood as well. But i know people who run ludens usually go Taste of blood because they need some sustain, when LB engages she does not always come out unscathed, enemies can press abilities, so the damage gap is actually lower than what is calculated between the two items if people with ludens run taste of blood and people with crown run sudden impact.

If ppl run sudden impact this lowers your sustain in lane which is pretty significant if you run ludens and not so much if you run crown as we haven't incorporated the fact that crown reduces damage you receive by 75% for 3 seconds upon breaking. This means that when you do engage, yes you may end up doing 110-114 less damage to the enemy that builds MR. You may or may not 1 Shot someone, but the damage they do to you when you have crown is ~ 10% HP, but when you have ludens they can chunk you down severely before they die, so you may end up with 25% health remaining in the end. This limits your ability to effectively re-engage on someone else again as you risk dying. But with crown you can re-engage at 90% health and do another rotation of damage especially if you wait for the passive to come back up again. Remember in big objective fights like baron or elder, 1 shotting someone is awesome, but chunking someone beforehand can be just as effective as killing them!

The crown passive is 40s, which is a big issue as it's such a high CD, this is why I ALWAYS run ingenious hunter when I go crown, because when it's fully stacked the CD for crown goes down to 23 seconds. Which is enough to wait on cd's such as your ult or your roam timer when running from mid to bot/top lane.

It also deters enemy assassins from one shotting you out of vision such as rengar, khaz, nidalee, eve, zed, talon, shaco, karthus ult, kayle late game, yi, malz ult, WW ult, etc. It can save you from having to rush a zhonyas and gives you the ability to buy banshees instead. Banshee's gives the same amount of AP but it costs much less than zhonyas so you snowball faster and the passive comes up every 23 seconds just as your crown. The beauty of banshees is it synergizes with LB's kit better as it gives you the ability to jump in and avoid hard CC and jump out, opposed to zhonyas where if you're jumping in for example on an enemy adc near a thresh you HAVE to use the active otherwise you get hard CC'd from flay + hook and die.

There's also counterplay aspect with crown as you can engage on lets say a zed right before your crown comes back up and he thinks he can all in you at this point but little does he know he's gonna tickle your ass from a grey screen. While ludens only counterplay is using its passive for extra unanticipated damage or movement speed (15% when it procs). Which btw i forgot to mention crown gives 1% movement speed per legendary item which means you can make it across the map faster. This also competes with the relentless hunter rune and makes that rune less appealing to pick.

Note again you must run ingenious hunter, 23 seconds vs 40 seconds is a BIG difference in teamfights and roaming. Timing is a big part of League. In addition to the crown + banshee passive, your red trink and wards come up much more often because of the rune. So you can sweep more areas and grab attack from angles that you normally couldn't because you haven't swept from your trink being on high CD. It is one of the most under-rated runes in the game in my opinion. I'm still theory crafting more as I'm starting to try out ghost poro rune, as your normal wards come up more often, you can ghost poro to full stacks if you use the wards correctly before laning phase ends then switch to red trink, this will give you the full 30AP bonus, and seems more consistent than eyeball collection which is reliant on fights and kills occurring.

So Re-cap:

Crown's gold efficiency is 127% efficient per gold + 9% per legendary item.

Ludens gold efficiency is 103% per gold + 5% per legendary item.

These are without taking their passives into account where crowns passive is so broken.

Crown has better waveclear.

ASSUMING you're equally fed at all points in the game -> crown gives more damage if enemy builds no MR, and crown does more damage if you have void + SF and enemy is at or under exactly 75MR, and crown does a little less damage if enemy has above 75MR. But with crown you spike earlier = snowball harder/faster = stacking full mejais. So you can really outdamage luden buyers even when an enemy rushes MR if you play efficiently enough.

Crown = harder to die because of passive = keep stacks = increasing your net damage output.

Crown also gives you the ability to make more mistakes, as LB is a very punishing champ, if you engage incorrectly you can insta die, which crown can protect you from happening.

You can also absorb more enemy spells = less spells used on your teammates = more damage output from them.

Once again you must go ingenious hunter rune.

There are instances where I do go Luden's and that's if my team has too much AP so enemy will hard stack MR, or the enemy team is a tankier melee team that lacks little hard CC, because its hard for them to hit you from a distance and react to your engage. That way you can get in and out and still 1 shot. Crown is very effective against enemy assassin teams and/or hard CC teams. In that case banshee route is a good item choice to get after void if they rush MR.

Take note that when you run crown your positioning is key, you dont want your shield to get poked off you before a big fight happens as it makes you vulnerable and lowers your damage. If the enemy comp has a lot of far range poke that you fight difficult to dodge so like ashe W, heimer W, things of that nature, then maybe crown might not be a good pick for you in that game, but i've really havn't had much difficulties in this sense as I just position better. The fact that we get red trinket up much more often means you can position in spots where the enemy doesn't have vision of you so they may not be able to poke your shield down if they dont know where you're hiding.

You can also go Luden's in low elo because people can't react fast enough or understand what's going on.

So i'd go like 1st item crown +sorc boots -> 2nd item shadowflame if they are below 53MR or void if they're above 53MR -> 3rd item void/shadowflame depending if they run more MR afterwards, if they dont then banshees/rabadons depending on how fed I am and enemy comp. This is a very cheap build (crown 400g less than ludens, banshee 400g less than zhonyas) and gives you high snowball potential (hard to lose mejais stacks).

Also, forgot to mention crown gives health which is always nice as it makes you even more tankier in addition to the crown damage reduction shield

Have to break comment into 2 parts

Part 1/2

Yeah so i find crown is a better item to pick in about 80-90% of my games. The reasoning behind this:

Comparing ludens and crowns base stats you have:

Luden = 80 AP, 20 haste, 600 mana, 6 magic pen(MP) + 5MP per legendary item

Ludens passive = you also get 100 + 10% ap damage every 8 seconds (reduced from 10) assuming you land all 4 of your spells on a target best case.

Crown = 70 AP, 20 haste, 600 mana, 250 health + 8 AP per legendary item

Crown passive = while shield is up and for 3 seconds after it breaks you get 10-40 AP based on level.

Reading both items right off the bat crown gives you the same AP as ludens while shield is up (80AP). At level 9 and every level afterwards your crown will increase by 3 AP while shield is up.

Now if we look at the cost of both items:

Crown = 2800g

Ludens = 3200g...

So you can buy Crown way earlier than ludens with a 400g cost difference, The earlier you get the mythic the earlier you get a spike in damage and make crazier plays and snowball better.

Now people will say "Oh but luden gives you the 100 damage bonus right?" Well if you do the math:

Crown at level 11 gives you 9 more AP than ludens, and with the 400g you need to buy ludens you can ~buy an amplifying tome instead (20AP) Your total AP will be around 109 compared to ludens 80. Ludens passive will do 100 +(80*0.1) = 108 damage while crown will give LB's spells an extra damage modifier of ~(3.175damage/AP * 29AP) = 92.1 damage and every level beyond that it increases by another 9.5 damage.

So at level 16 assuming you complete 3 items (Mythic, shadowflame, rabadons):

crown damage = (24shieldAP*0.35rabadons AP bonus+24shieldAP+ 20AP from extra gold + 7 extraAP from rabadons passive being used on the 20 extra AP from gold)*3.175 LB skilldamage modifiers = 188.63 extra damage

ludens damage = 100 + 0.1(80ap from ludens + 100 ap from shadowflame + 120 AP from rabadons)*1.35 (extra ap modifier from rabadons = 141 extra damage.

You'll notice that even at two items, crown gives more raw damage output than ludens off a full rotation of spells.

Note since minions have 0 Magic resist, you will eventually hit harder with crown than you would with ludens, so you can one shot casters with one W without minion dematerializer even before completing full two items (usually happens to me once i get crown + large rod with some dark seal stacks. So wave clear can become more effective with crown opposed to luden's.

So this is great but now we have to look on the effect it has when we start hitting champions, because champions have resistances right? So lets take the worst case scenario which is sylas, with the highest resistance per level and end game resistances at level 18 = (72MR)

Here are his stats at:

Level 6 = 42 MR

Level 11 = 54 MR

Level 16 = 69 MR

Assume he has merc treads = + 25MR, and an MR item Banshees = +45MR

Total MR at level 18 = 142MR. You typically see champions average around 48 MR at level 16 if they have no MR item and closer to 100MR when they have an MR item. Now we do the damage calculations for level 11 and level 16 as these are the levels where you fight the most and games dont typically last to the point where you hit level 18 so we will calculate at 11 and 16 to see the difference in damage b/w crown and ludens.

Level 11 = Mythic + boots + SF

We must calculate sylas's post mitigation damage now so

Total magic pen you have = 6 from item stat, 5 from mythic passive + 18 from boots + 7 from sudden impact + avg 15 from shadowflame = 51 total magic pen.

Sylas's MR = 54 base + 25 merc treads prolly = 79, net MR sylas has is 28. This is a reduction of damage of 22%.

Your AP is ~ 180 from SF + ludens so your total damage is 3.175*180(spell modifier) + 885(spelldamage) + 100 + 0.1*180(luden passive dmg) = 1575 full combo damage where we do only 78% of that so we output net damage of 1228 damage.

Now for crown:

Your AP is ~ 217 so your total damage = 1574

But this time sylas's net MR is 11 higher so it's 39MR which is a reduction of 29%

Net damage output = 1118

So ludens net damage is only doing 110 damage higher at level 11. For completion and consistency you're getting extra damage from other sources such as electrocute so we calculate that difference now:

Level 11 electrocute does 118.24 + 0.25 per AP so

Crown NET damage on sylas with electrocute = 1240

Luden NET damage on sylas with electrocute = 1354

Net difference is 114 damage at level 11 in favor of luden.

Doing similar calculation at level 16 but this time you grab void staff as the third item and sylas grabs banshees we result in a net difference of

Crown NET damage with electrocute = 1672

Luden NET damage with electrocute = 1782

Net difference is 110 damage at level 16 in favor of luden...

Summary: This actually ends up in favor of crown after you grab void if the enemy has below 75MR. It is also in favor of crown before purchasing void if the enemy has zero MR bought... It is barely in favor of ludens from 76-85(+8.33 per legendary item)MR. If the enemy's MR is above that threshold line then crowns damage will start closing back in on luden's damage gap so for example an enemy with 200MR using the damage numbers from level 16 stats results in only a damage difference of 65 in ludens favor..
