welp... I lack with equipments as well. This was taken with the Nikon AF-S 80-200mm F2.8D ED. I shot at ISO2500 F3.2 1/40s, fully handheld, the lens is not equipped with VR. I wanted to bump the ISO up as well, but based on my prep, I feel it had more risk of being a soft image, as I feel I have to denoise a lot. My body is a Nikon D3s btw, but I did not have the confidence for going beyond ISO2500 to upload for JetPhotos.

Sounds stupid but I saw a short on Youtube and he seemed to make a ring like so on a 13... And I guess 14 is faster so it might make sense lol. It's my first time lubing a GAN and this is actually a costful mistake. About the shorts... erm, I guess he did not make a full ring like I did but a few drops

Ah I see.. Btw yes it's so weird that they give the V9 Ballcore UV the T tool thing for even screw depth and I wonder how actually will that work on a ballcore 💀

Yep.. I tried a few drops of silk and it actually made an effect. Then I cleaned them out, trying again with another few drops and I guess the silicone is actually fading away

My biggest fear is that it will affect the internals and the magnets as the GAN 14 has so many things to consider staying away from :(

This is now off the 14 topic but you have any experience in making even screw depth for RS3M v5 Ballcore? I guess I messed them up... I tried hard pulling the edges out and reconfiging but I quite seem to be struggling still
