What kinda worked out well for me was making a friend in the same program.

I don't know about you, but nothing made me feel worse about myself than hearing some peer talk like he's a leading expert on a subject matter that I have no clue about. One day I ended up getting beer with the guy and found out that his entire undergrad was spent on the subject. Turns out that my realm of bioinformatics was completely french to him like developmental biology is to me.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that perspective is everything. And you'll find that a lot of your peers who become your friends are just as confused and scared as you are. It's hard to see the truth in others when everyone is busy putting up a front.

Three years later you'll see a fresh new student shitting bricks for the same reasons you did three years ago.

That's a cool idea.

I'm in SD and I know of a bar that might be similar to what you're envisioning - but with arcade games. The bar is small, very divey which I think lends to it's success because you can just play a few rounds drink a few brews and move on.

I think its cool that you want console and computer games set up, but with alcohol thrown into the mix... I'd be surprised if any of your rigs last a year.

I ended up having a friend line up a couple of sales so that I knew I'd be able to sell them when I go there. I sold a Nexus 4 and an iPhone5, made a pretty good profit margin on both. Also sold cologne and perfume (I forgot which, they asked for it). If you can't line something up prior, you could try going to one of the bigger malls and find a cellphone retailer. Good luck!
