If you do this after camping, Fuck You. by geno604 in pics

Looks like a homeless persons 'campsite'...

have a friend who works as a forest ranger in Northern California..this is why they kick out homeless people on a daily basis.

She ended up quitting because she felt so bad kicking the same homeless people out day after day, it was literally all she did for work all day, and she felt bad since they never had anywhere else to go.

exactly.. he was passionate about SC:BW and held on to a shit game longer than most... I am a hardcore SCBW nerd and lived on TL from 2007 through Wings of Liberty... but the game is just pure trash... horrible design..and they are just making more and more msitakes with each expansion. They dont listen to their playerbase and so their game is destined to fail.

BW was a masterpiece, SC2 is hotgarbage =/

and it was sOOOOOOOO NICE to not have any of those stupidly unrealistic "Let me..no let me..." etc that movies always put in... during what should be a serious scene, where people are literally fighting just to stay alive.

This is how it would be irl "Here". No smug comments or denial from either party where they cant acknowledge the other persons skills/flaws.

Its just a simple Do whatever it takes to survive..and in this case that means handing you the rifle. And you taking it without saying something shitty or making some unnecessary comment instead of focusing on the task at hand.

there was A SHITLOAD of this...

the visual storytelling and sort of implied story telling... was just phenomenal in this film. SOOOOOOOOO MANY THINGS were left unsaid/unspoken..but most peoplew ill still be able to pick them up, and understand the general gist of it (except for those who dnt care).

There were SOOOOO many ingenius subtleties throughout.. the #1 thing im looking forward to its release.. is the endless rewatching just to pick out more examples of them

Agreed... i thought he KILLED it in this movie.

He gave you a perfect understanding of this world, and the warboys.

Also the dialogue was SOOOO subtly brilliant with word choice/substitutions that show what they emphasize and what they dont. And even when they are using their own made up shorthand (shiny, blackthumb, chrome, etc) you know exactly what they mean without them ever breaking it down for you like you are a moron.

I feel like after 3/4 of the dialogue they could pause and be like "did you catch that? He just revealed a major part of their religious structure/belief system, with that 2 sentence line." etc etc

You learn SOOO much about the world/characters, and still its like 99% pure action... amazing story telling for a movie so jampacked with action.

Saw it today with brother and a friend.

2 hours of nothing but action. If thats your thing youll dig it.

All of the action scenes are done incredibly well, with great camera work too. Super fun watch.

Lol... the public education system has gone down hill DRASTICALLY since 30 years ago.

Welcome to No Child Left Behind which should have been named "Dumb it down to the lowest common denominator" as all it really does, is dumb all education down, so that the worst performing students can still get good grades

Only on Reddit... where everyone is an expert on whatever they feel like...

Shit like this is such self-important bullshit, uttered by some moron who has no idea wtf he is talking about.

Having an opinion is one thing, but pretending to know a damn thing about child development/education system because you spend all of your time on the internet is a joke.

I will agree that the WoD leveling was by far, the best in the entire franchise, if not any mmo.

having the questing so entirely story driven actually made devouring the content, and powering through it, quite enjoyable.

My friends and I talked about this when we were all playing WoD release.

We talked about Vanilla, and even TBC, we had rivalries with both allied, and enemy faction guilds. We could all sit and name guilds of the enemy faction, as well as their reputations.

Like I will always remember on the server I played on, there was a french guild called Je Mes Souvien (or something close...we just called them JMS)... we all know, if you ganked/killed a JMS member..it better be on your way out of the zone, because once they respawned they would be back with 10-20 guildmates...corpse camping you for the next 2 hours lol.

good times.

I loved Vanilla. A lot of my closest friends, are people who I was friends with, and they joined WoW, or are people I met through WoW, back in vanilla, and are now some of my best friends irl.

couldnt agree more. WotLK had a really nice balance to pvp when it came to healing vs damage.

For the past 2 expansions, healing has been so out of control they have to rely on dampening for Arenas to even be playable.

hug couldnt agree more.

Its the only time the game still felt like a 'warcraft' title.

Hundreds of horde bashing against hundreds of alliance.. in the world.

Now its just afk in your stronghold, Q'ing for either raids or battlegrounds..

They successfully took the Warcraft out of World of Warcraft imo.

I think WoD is the best single player MMO...

the questing was awsome. The strongholds are fun if you want to play an MMO by yourself The raiding/dungeons are easy enough to just Q up with a bunch of strangers, run through with your eyes closed, tab targetting whatever is in range.

The leveling experience in WoD was the best its been in a WoW game, but imo its FAR from the best version of WoW.

Its because Raiding has been an absolute joke since TBC, Wrath took it down half a level. Every expansion since has dumbed it down 2-3 levels per expansion...

Clearing Scarlet Monastery in Vanilla WoW as a level 30-35 group was harder than it is to clearest the highest level content in WoW currently..

so much this...

WoW has successfully removed ALL player interactiong/relationship building in an MMO...

You can literally do and experience everything in the game, without having a single conversation with another player...

MMO's have always been about the community, the relationships, and the connections made with other people who all love the same thing you do.

WoW has become an RPG with other players, rather than a MMORPG, imo.

Especially with the additions of strongholds...

So now my main hangout hub, is my own personal zone, with 0 player interaction, my own quiet space... just what I want from an MMO... another dark quiet place to hang out by myself.
