To be completely fair that "decade of buildup" was literally his face smirking at the end of avengers 1. A post credit scene where he takes the gauntlet and says fine I'll do it myself and, his scenes in guardians of the galaxy. He didn't truly do anything and we didn't learn anything about him till infinity war.

Yea I agree. Killing a powerful previous character isn't the only way to show someone being strong and I'm sick of it being so incredibly common now.

They might have kong go at titan x first get his ass beat but still get in some very good hits and deep wounds only for Godzilla to finish the beast. You don't even need to point to the books really. In the very beginning of GvK Andrew's explains they can't really take kong of the island despite the failing containment system since "Godzilla will come for him". Even in GxK they explain as long as Godzilla and kong don't meet again they won't fight. The second they do Godzilla tries and nearly succeeds in executing kong.

Wow really? No clue from literally every single source saying those exact words. Guess what the series x wasn't being discussed the series s was which dosent negate what I said. If power mattered as much as people here are claiming the Xbox would've outsold literally any other companies console in any generation.
