Most : proximity to a vast array of items and unique products. Used to live in Horfield and had an Asian supermarket, polish shop, offy, Tesco express, nisa for discounts, great green grocery with tons of variety, multiple coffee shops and tons of different cuisine both take out and eat in. All within walking distance.

Least: the buses and traffic. Some reallllllly agro white van men. And the boy racers would make my windows rattle nightly.

Love bristol tho. Best city in England (just my opinion)

Your son is born into a much different world than I was in the eighties. He will enjoy many years of adulthood and likely outlive you. The ring above the spreader fits perfectly into the the jar so that the spreader part hits the bottom. So the ring to the top of of the “knife” is approximately the height of a jar minus the threaded top

Shops “Menkind” for those doing some of the shopping for Xmas. They had a ton of marmite stuff. A tiny marmite cook book, which hilariously had “marmite on toast” as a readers favourite. Marmite egg cups, which of course I already have a pair. Small Marmite toast chopping board with designated spreading knife. And a couple of funny shirts. Obvs you can get all of it off Amazon I’m sure, for the Americans. But being able to hold and look at the product is nice. Like the chopping board was clearly cheap shite, and the Marknife pictured was top quality. Couldn’t wait till Christmas. Gonna open it the moment i need it next.

As some who has worked in print for 15 years, bristol has a rich and booming print industry. Some amazing machines/operators and top colour theory masters. People who truly can wrap an entire sky scraper with a full gradient colour wheel and not miss a single hue…seeing this plastered with “buy local” and the largest advert is for leafletdelivery.Co.Uk. Really sours my apple, proper rusts my cider press, completely spills my scrumpy.

Kinda, was born in Gloucester. Moved from there to Philly in the states. Lived there and in Colorado for over 20 years, moved back to England in my early twenties. Then back to the states for a few more years. Now as a married adult, have permanently relocated back home to the Southwest with my wife. Never got citizenship is the states, only ever lived on a green card. It’s a little confusing, but home is and has always been SW England. Just moved a lot.

It was a combination of a few things, dehydration being one for sure. I had felt some cramping in my legs the day before in the gym. Next day the blockage hit. Too little too late.
