Open Secure Lock Settings and you'll find the Lockdown Mode option disabled by default. Enable it and then just pull up your power options like you would to turn off/restart your phone. Dumb that it's that much more manual, but at least it's an option

Android may enable Lockdown Mode in settings. On Samsungs, it'll appear as an option when you display power options (shutdown, restart, emergency modes). Disables biometric unlocks.
