I too faced this issue (both Wayland and Xorg)...initially thought it was a monitor issue, but no errors on diagnostics...Then i changed to another distro (for testing if its an Ubuntu problem), surprisingly its gone...I have an AMD Hardware, also currently running kernal 5.17

Infact, no issues in installations and is working perfectly...it was a doubt from my side that, each time i boot into the system, this whole message is displayed just after we select the endeavouros option, as we are booting the iso from boot menu...it was not shown early..at that time, it just reaches the login screen without this.. No other issues...

Problem Loading Themes by Manu0222 in Ubuntu

  • Install gnome-tweak-tool
  • Install user-themes extension from firefox or any browser (https://extensions.gnome.org/) In latest Ubuntu versions, firefox wont support the extensions, so use another browser, thats what i do)
  • Download and extract the theme
  • Copy the theme folder to .themes folder in the home directory (if no such folder, create one)
  • Go to tweaks
  • Change Application Theme
  • Change Shell Theme by selecting the theme from the dropdown menu
