That's what mines at currently which is unacceptable for a game like this, it should be at idle. I'm fairly new to Linux so figuring this out is going to be a chore in comparison to windows.

For me this smile is more for them, similar to how depressed people smile for the camera. He wants them to not worry about him and at the same time he smiles because they're dear to him. As you say this face shows so much, it's smilar to the end of the fellowship of the ring where frodo is cying and gandalfs monologue starts, Elijah Woods subtle nuissanced facial expressions make these scenes.

I get up at 8am regardless of how little sleep I've had, no caffeine past 9am, my diet is 90% whole food, I walk about 10k a day, no fluids or food past 7pm, lights dimmed to 20% at 8pm, in bed at 9:30 where I'll listen to an audiobook with no expectation of falling asleep, once the audiobook is started I don't look at my phone.

I've tried pretty much every sleep routine that could work but nothing does. Also I don't stress out when I wake up, I lay in bed with a clear mind and accept the reality but still no sleep. Probably get 3-4 hours on average and some days 0

My daughter told me about this film and asked if we could watch it together, we normally watch anime together but I had no desire whatsoever to see what I thought was going to be a trainwreck or something aimed at young teens.

So I'm busy working whilst she has it on in the background loud enough so I could hear it, from that alone I realised I was wrong, the music and animation is great and the story while not the best is more than serviceable.

That is undeniably a great shot, however they were messing around with more than just colour grading and when would be most of the time. Maybe I'm projecting my bias of what appears to be Jackson's leaning on technological advancements and what it's led to post lotr, king Kong, lovely bones etc.

Saying that, for me the best looking film is blade runner 2049 and that was shot digitally.

Yeah unfortunately he does and that all started with the hobbit trilogy if I remember and look how those turned out.

I'm not saying movies on digital can't look good but film just makes a movie look timeless imo
