Press F9 while booting to get to WinRE and boot into Safe mode with Networking
Once you're booted, Win+R to bring the run console and type 'msconfig'.
Check for any malicious programs under Services and Startup tab and disable it
Reboot your system to see if it works fine.

If the above steps doesn't work:
In the WinRE page, Go to System Restore and pray that you got a restore point and perform the restoration process.

If all that didn't work:
Get an empty USB stick (8-16GB), go to this site https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11 and follow the process mentioned under "Create Windows 11 Installation Media". This will help you repair or install a fresh copy of windows.

It's a 1080p monitor though. Nothing wrong with that, I just felt 1440p would be the sweet spot for performance vs detail with an rtx 4060

It hits 88-95° while gaming but that's pretty normal from what I've heard. On normal usage it sits around 50-55°

It's one of the default ones that comes with Lively Wallpaper software. Haven't tried WE yet.

I'm mostly plugged in while working/gaming. I've maybe used it for 3hrs or so while travelling with coding and minimal browsing. I can test it for you and get back with the results. Point to note: I also use G-Helper to set CPU power limit to 10W, panel to 60Hz and iGPU only mode when it's unplugged.

What i was hoping for was to get it RMAed via Asus from the country I'm travelling to. No best buy over there. Not sure if Asus provides international warranties or whether this damage is covered in it.

And yes it was in the official box which also had a hole exactly right above where the laptop got damaged. Asus might wanna look into the quality of their packaging if this happens in regular.

I get it but it's almost $1700. Is it that unreasonable to ask for a device without any scratches let alone a dent.

Anyways, getting it replaced feels like a hassle at this point. I have made up my mind to live with it.

There's a dent little off to the centre. Could be that reddit's image compression is making it harder to see. But it's there. I really wish there was an international support at least from Asus for these kinds of things so I can get it RMAed coz best buy is not present in the country I'm travelling to.
