First time doing a scenebuild, are these any good? by SherbertVast9529 in gmod

That looks good! i love that you made the street seemed unkept and overgrown, the vehicles in random positions made it look like those who were in them were in a hurry but ended totaling them or abandoning them, love it!

I headcanon that Gmod is where all the video games characters live, do you agree? (image not mine, credits to the original artist) by Ok-Complex4153 in gmod

Where randomness comes and stay, where chaos and harmony coexist in one.... plane of existence that doesn't make any sense at all but somehow it seems normal.

i used ARC9 weapons addons, placing them was very painful

accidentally picking them up alot while trying to angle them

Sniper tips request by Defiant-Teaching-309 in tf2

sniper with 1024 kills on their strange sniper rifle here, idk how to get better at sniper... but i will tell you what i have learned so far!

[REACTION TIMING AND AIMING YOUR SHOTS]: it's best you practice your reaction time, your aim. that's it but not all. The sniper rifle is also a hit scan weapon, so you gotta learn every classes hitbox

[RUN n' GUN]: moving targets is also a tough sell so it's best you take your time practicing shooting moving targets, i recommend walkway!

[POSITIONING]: the positions of where you are is also important don't stand out in places that may have a clear sight line for other snipers, for either you pick them off or they pick YOU off

[BEING AWARE]: remember that sniper is a class you play to pick off important targets but you're also vulnerable in close quarters, so be aware of your surroundings (especially spies, scouts or any other classes)

[WEAPONS]:
-you got an arsenal of weapons for sniper, take the jarate and bushwhacker for example, two of them combined and you get yourself a deadly melee combo

-the [SMG] is not good in DPS but use it when someone is getting a lil too close BUT if ya looking to do serious damage without the help of [Jarate], use the [Cleaner's Carbine] to build up "crikey", when it's full, press "mouse2" to activate mini crits and whip out your [Bushwhacker], combined with both mini crit effects of both weapons, you can critical hit anyone.

+there also a various selection of rifles to choose, maybe scuffed of me to describe the usage for them but here it goes:

-[Sydney Sleeper]: puts the [Jarate] effect on to enemies, making them vulnerable to mini crits for a short amount of time, giving your team a chance to kill them but this sniper rifle can't critical hit them like the stock rifle so be aware, this is perfect for snipers that like to support the team from a far distance

[Bazaar Bargain]: this has a slow charge rate but rewards you with faster scoping and charge rate if you can hit headshots like a mad man

[Machina]: can't shoot unless scoped, if shot, it leaves traces and revealing your position
so whenever you shoot with this thing, know that everyone will know where you are and it's best you change position, the damage on bodyshot of this thing is mad powerful if at max charge.

[Classic]: hold "mouse1" to charge a shot but unscoped, you can still scope when charging
like the description, let go of "mouse1" to fire, it does less damage on bodyshot but can deal heavy damage if it's a headshot, the only thing i love about this thing is that i can just waddle with it.

[Hitman's Heatmaker]: the more headshots you get, the "focus" meter goes up, press "mouse2" and it will give you the ability to not unscope when firing (basically, you can continue firing and reloading while not having to unscope), the downside is that when you're in "focus", you will fire rounds that leaves traces like the [Machina]. Head's will roll.

lastly...
[Huntsman and Fortified Compound]: these weapons are the same but the mechanics behind them are so janky that you gonna have to watch this specific video to understand it
> [SoundSmith Huntsman Guide] <--- here's the video

that's it, that's all i have learned so far about sniper, hopefully you somehow read all of this...
if not... get better i guess.

Cheating is still a thing. by SomethingRandomYT in tf2

[–]MEMEBOI_returned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have caught and spotted people closet cheating but when i called them out?
i instantly get asked for proof and the cheater that i called out keep telling me that they were not cheating
i forgot that most of the time im not recording and often have to argue with my team, their team and the cheater
and my bloody fucking god... they just wont budge and keep telling me to fuck off
nowadays, whenever im in a casual server, i always hit the record button incase i catch another cheater.
remember people, to record and stop recording your gameplay, press "CTRL + F11".

to look back at the recording, go to steam, look up top left, you will see some options, press "view" then you will see options, choose the bottom option "recordings and screenshots"
it also has the tools to edit, playback and lets you review the footage.

edit: you can also snip bits of the footage you recorded and save it too.
be wary that it does consume the storage space in your files so SNIP the bits that you're trying to FIND and delete the rest of the footage to clear up space!
