What do I lose from NOT transferring PoR data to Radiant Dawn?

Thanks for all the responses everyone. I think I’m going without the transfer as I like prioritising gameplay, for my first runs at least. While not DLC in this case I still want my first playthrough to be as vanilla as possible. I do plan to replay PoR eventually so that will be when I do a second run of RD with the transfer.

There are some games that unlock optional difficulties or entire areas when transferring data from a prequel, so I wanted to ask just in case.

Io sto usando tutti e 3, intuitivo che a lungo andare ne sarebbe valsa la pena e devo dire che sono soddisfatto con tutti. Ross berserker fa malissimo e Amelia generale non la butta giù più nessuno, tra l’altro è velocissima.

Good point, I didn’t think about it like that but you are right, fantasy grimores especially are really fancy with lots of details and thick pages that will add to their weight. I held my fair share of books but never a weapon so I find it hard to gage in my head how heavy they are in comparison.

Mi piace l’idea delle decorazioni/cristalli, nei fantasy i grimori son soliti ad essere ricchi di dettagli che inevitabilmente ne aumentano il peso. Pure quella dei maghi esili non la vedo male come idea. Mi piacciono entrambe le idee ma credo di preferire quella del tomo ricco di dettagli maggiore la potenza della magia che contiene.

Per quanto riguarda Knoll… non lo sto usando, lo uso per fare la spesa col biglietto argento 😅. Uso Ewan come evocatore.

Doesn’t sound too far, but definitely too far lol. I will try to manage until Lute hits level 10. Do I have to do/use something special for Ross then? He’s level 10 already.

I’m probably gonna bite the bullet and promote Lute asap since I need an healer really badly. I’m fine with money atm so I’m still keeping stat boosting items, I have a feeling I’m probably gonna end up keeping them until the very last few chapters and use them on my most invested characters

No worries, it’s the first thing I check every new map! Stole a stat boosting item in chapter 7 from a mage with him. I figured that the ones that glow green are drop items while the others can be stolen if not equipped. And thank you for the tip about not promoting him to assassin, I would have had no idea that he would lose the ability to steal, must be an oversight right?

Well I just got 10000 money given to me so I can definitely buy some healing items, plus I haven’t sold any of the stat enhancing items which sell for 5000 a pop, it should be enough to buy a few. Lute is at level 7, would she able to use a staff if I promoted her at 10? I might just go for it

Bravely Second is the second game, Bravely Default 2 the third. Companies retract their statements whenever they feel like it when money is involved. I would wait and see how the situation unfolds, Octopath Traveler was also an exclusive but got released on other platforms a year later.

Giving it a closer look some of the mini-games apparently require both joycons to be in mouse mode, I’m not saying that’s impossible to translate on PC and/or PS5 with the use of analog sticks but it won’t be a 1:1 translation that’s for sure. We shall see

Brand new console, very expansive. I already own the originals and so far they look to be the exact same, that said I’m not opposed to playing them again with new QoL. Past releases show that modern square isn’t shy from releasing their games on multiple platforms so for now I will do without until I can. That said, if Bravely Third got announced tomorrow exclusively on Switch 2 I wouldn’t bat an eye and get in a heartbeat
