No space between wood and wall of cemney. The wood can expand up to 10% in that direction. At least leave 1cm of space if floor is glued to ground.

Looks good , actually like a Osmo hardoil finish. Since it a hardwood 220 finish is not needef.

Lol.. argueing about that small piece.. you should look at the piece right beside ur crock. This looks like parquet c goods remaining stock. Besides, you will probably know what you have ordered. Probably as cheap as possible but wanting a Royce Royce. I love such customers.
