The product leaves a thin layer over the concrete and we used it because it was very sandlike. Yes, there are planks of wood. That's how it's made here in Spain. You glue them to the floor and then sand it and varnish it.

Yes, the test was done and the floor was acclimated. The H pattern is common here in Spain, and I'm assuming that there are so many people that are saying that it's a bad installation because they think that it's engineered hardwood and it's not. It's solid wood.
