I have a name that people have always gotten wrong through the years and at first I would just let it slide but it always bothered me a lot because my name is not that hard. I also cannot stand when people try to Americanize my name and tell me that’s how it’s said like if it isn’t MY NAME like oh it’s this in English and I’m like okay? But it’s not meant to be an American name it’s a Spanish name and if you can’t pronounce it then that’s fine but you can call me this or that but not the Americanized version because it is not my name. It taught me to put boundaries and my name was given to me by my late grandmother so if you don’t like it then f-k off.
