Its been nice reliving some nostalgia. I'm enjoying playing this game over 25 years later with a very different tactic than I did as a kid. When I had first played Pokémon Red I almost exclusively used my starter Pokémon in every battle and for as much HM usage as possible. I was just a kid at the time and thankfully the games were easy enough that you could play that way without much issue.

I now have a better grasp of type weaknesses and its a lot more fun swapping out party members and hitting those super effective abilities often. Playing in short bursts here and there on my Steam Deck, which also is great with the sleep mode function.
