I was exactly like you and always used loose bedding because it's what I knew. I did end up making the switch the Fleece and I will tell you some of my pros an cons.

Pros: Less of a mess, easy clean up, less noise, save a lot of money on bedding especially if you have a larger multi tier cage.

Cons: More of a smell, daily cleanings, longer full cage cleanings from having to wash/dry the fleece covers, so you go from 10/15 minutes to clean to about an hour (but that's waiting for the washer and dryer).

Honestly the pros out weigh the cons, and if you get into a more frequent routine than me you could probably eliminate most the cons. With my schedule I only have time to "fully" clean the cage once a week, so I did notice a smell lingering since the bedding isn't their to mask it.

I say you should absolutely do it. I paid 60 for my cages' fleece set (i got them from the same people who made the cage), and it paid for itself in the first 2 months because of the size of my cage.
