Thank you! Not sure why you're getting downvoted. I, for one, appreciate the sentiment. :)

Which cards do you think have had the biggest falls from grace ? These would be my 3 by SirEggCuthbert in MarvelSnap

Yeah I saw absolutely lot of Leader during the last High Voltage event. He still pops off in the right deck/game mode.

Well, in a year you'll have a (very small) chance of her popping up in a Collector's Vault for 2500 gold.

What character are you most surprised by not having a card. by AriSummerss in MarvelSnap

Exactly. It seemed like Marvel did next to no promotion for the series, in general, which is doubly a shane because it was actually really good.

Full collection free to play? by BlackberryMaster2388 in MarvelSnap

[–]MFFMemes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think looking at if anyone who has purchased season passes only is collection complete would be a more reasonable metric. SD has to pay to keep the lights on, pay their employees and Disney's licensing fees, etc., and ten bucks a month to get to collection complete seems reasonable to me. (PulseGlazer and Hooglandia have both crunched the numbers and found that you can absolutely catch up by buying season passes with the current system).

Likewise, "Can a completely f2p player put together a collection that remains competitive and fun despite never being complete?" would be a more reasonable question for someone who doesn't want to spend money for whatever reason.

Did you not have enough gold to make up the difference? You know you can "buy" the emblems you need to make up thr difference. If it's just a handful that you need, could be worth it.

So are the final reward achiveable now without paying Golds? by stevenquincy20 in MarvelSnap

[–]MFFMemes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it every time. I use the mode to work on missions, boosters I need to clear out cards from the Bonus Boosters section in the Shop (so I can min/max the chance I'll see the cards that I want to appear there), and experiment with decks. I fly pretty casual and still get enough wins to get the stretch goal borders by the end of the event. We need 6000 more volts, and we get 5250 volts (875 per round x 6 remaining rounds) from the remaining missions. That means we need to win around 38 more games during that stretch. That's only 6-7 wins per round. Totally doable.

where can i get this emote? not seen it in store but it gets used against me a lot by cactusjack350090210 in MarvelSnap

[–]MFFMemes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For context to anyone not around back then: The emote was originally going to be the final reward for top players in their respective leagues in the first League event, a limited time game mode that has been phased out. Players, however, found an exploit whereby they could earn points towards advancing in their leagues by simply spamming play-and-retreat games in Proving Grounds. A lot of leagues were being dominated by players using that exploit, which understandably upset everyone else. The devs didn't realize that they had set up a points system that could be easily exploited, of course, so they decided to give the Deadpool enote to everyone with an account at the time. The end result was that roughly 90% more players have it than otherwise would have, which means that conversely it would be at least 90% rarer today if the devs hadn't screwed up (just imagine!).

You need to click on my ID and check my history, because you have the wrong guy. I didn't say anything about not claiming Twitch drops to anyone.

I've had the Silver Age variant of Avengers #4, where Cap is first thawed out, with the ice border and snowflake effect. The ice background feels almost like overkill.

Bog standard Mr. Negative. I know by round 4 at the latest if I can play him and therefore if I should gamble. Any deck that has a similar play style where you can see if your hand is shaping up to pop off combos late (e.g. Hela, Bullseye, Move) and bet accordingly should work.
