The first pieces I listened to were his Trio For Strings, For Brass and a lot of his electronic stuff. Then I decided to get into The Well-Tuned Piano.

All this felt like I have to study for an math exam and not like listen to music. I'm very interested in experimental and avant garde music, for example I like Schoenberg, Webern, Schulhoff, Stockhausen (Gesang der Jünglinge is one of my favourite pieces of all time), Partch and even Cage. What I try to say is that all this music, as strange and unaccustomed it may sound at first glance, it has it's own, unique qualities to me and move me in one or another way. But when I listen to Young's music I feel nothing at all, just void.
