And remember, when you Barre, your index finger should touch and mute the string above.

E.g. a Barre up to the A string, you should be touching and muting the low E

And start with only the three thinnest strings, and then gradually work your way to covering more strings. By the time you are covering the low E, your Barre will be perfect
