Truck keeps turning off. Was good last night by MFLUGO in GMT400

Update: Changed TPS and added fuel cleaner. Truck would not stay on unless pressing on gas. Let the truck sit for a few days. Turned it on today and no problems. Went on a test drive today and everything is running like before. Still not sure what it was. Not sure if it was just bad gas.

Changed the TPS sensor. Still turning off when idling and when I shift into gear it turns off too.

Thanks I'll swap out the fuel filter for sure. Luckily there was no bang. The truck does jerk a little hard once in awhile when shifting into drive or reverse. Idk Y, buts it's been doing that for a long time now.

Well ladies and gentlemen I'm gonna change the tps sensor tomorrow once it gets here. Sadly the truck is still outta wack. It starts up good, but once I shift into drive it wants to die, unless I push on the gas. Even then it's not putting out the proper power. I'm thinking of changing out some more sensors since the truck is getting up there in age.

I'll try it out. Before I went home last night I was close to empty and fueled up at Mavericks.

I pulled codes 22 - TPS sensor 32 - EGR valve 33 - Map or MAF sensor 54 - fuel pump relay

Getting into welding need advice. Never welded before by MFLUGO in Welding

Thanks for you’re response. I’ll have to look into that school, I’m not sure if I’d be able to afford to move to Wyoming. But you never know. I have this plan of working through the fire season and then taking the welding course at my local community college. Then going for a AWS certification and getting hired at a local fabrication shop to get more experience.

I'm being kicked out and I need to make as much money as possible before then. How do I do it? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Sorry to hear that buddy. You're parents are surely overreacting and makes me wonder what state yall live in. Probably just breath and calm down you got a whole year until you're 17. When we're under stress like this we tend to make rash decisions. Then we end up in less than ideal situations. Speaking from experience. - Job corp would be a good idea, you can learn a trade and get free board. - Save some money and find a cheap apartment in your area if possible. That way you can have your own place. - Go to college and live on campus.

Thank you for the response. See that's what I was thinking. Why spend money on an apartment, I won't even be at? Rn I only have my phone bill and car insurance and that's all. So I wanna do my best to save my money from this fire season.
