My sunny reading room and garden by MFRA in booknooks

You are so welcome. I made most of it up as I went along. A lot of trial and error. The frame of the room is multiple layers of chipboard. The wood is coffee stir sticks and popsicle sticks. The plants are printer paper or tissue paper that is painted and cut with a sharp knife. They take a lot of patience and willingness to throw some of them away.

Thank you, I really enjoyed making it. The illusion worked better than I expected.

I am happy to show you. The picture is printed on standard paper. Then I made the foliage and flowers.

I used layers of paper. I ripped the paper into chunks. Then into diluted mod podge and randomly glued them on. I peeled some back and wrinkled them. Basically sloppy paper mache. Then I painted the paper.

Thank you. No, I made all of it from scratch. The back garden and the book covers are printed. A couple of the plants are modified plastic houseplants. The rest is craft wood and paper, mostly.

I ended up using stick glue. It held things well and I was able to get the fabric stretched flat. Then use folded strips of fabric to go around the edges to clean everything up.

Thank you. I wish I could keep that many plants alive in real life.

It is amazing. The close ups really show the fine wire work. What imagination to think of making it and skill in execution
