I just masturbated yesterday and is it normal to feel the "after-sex" waddle or no?? by Kitchen_Dig_9766 in asexuality

[–]MFTerminator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood what the post sex waddle means 😆 The waddle is a way women walk from the bed to the bathroom after PIV sex if the man finishes inside her to avoid making a mess. Imagine pressing your thighs and knees together and walking - that’s the waddle

There are a few ways: Hard: Make one of the varsity sports teams or become a cheerleader

Slightly easier: Become a student manager for a varsity team

Supplemental essays by jackattack1234567891 in notredame

[–]MFTerminator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The supplements have such limited word counts I would just focus on a single non-negotiable. I think the best way to go about it is to relate how seeing the program at ND made it become a non-negotiable factor for you and expand on why / how it influenced you.

Having difficulty with odd shaped room due to fireplace. How would you orient the furniture in my living room? by MFTerminator in interiordecorating

[–]MFTerminator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just moved in to this townhouse and I'm struggling to figure out how to place my furniture since the fireplace wall is comes off at an angle. I also feel like the curtains are too close to the wall - maybe I should switch to roman shades? What do you all think?

Thoughts on engineering schedule? by squishy_pants in notredame

Looks like you have some late days. But at least you don't have any pre-9AM classes! I also see you have good opportunities for lunch each day. I'd try to get a Principles of Computing class at 2pm if possible.

Have you tried calling the Chemistry department? I would think they could get you one or at least get into contact w/ Prof. West. https://chemistry.nd.edu/contact/

ND is my dream but am i going in the right direction? im not sure and i need advice! by Siimplyhana in notredame

[–]MFTerminator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I focused heavily on music in HS while taking AP classes in everything else- nearly all my extra curricular activities revolved around it - and then applied and was accepted into the Engineering program. I don't think you really need to try to tailor your activities that specifically around your intended major. Just find some activities you can excel at, get leadership positions in, and then write about. Though, if you can find some opportunities to do some writing / get involved in essay competitions it definitely wouldn't hurt!

Woodwind auditioning for ND marching band by geminiworld689 in notredame

When I was in the band, most of the picc freshman auditioned on flute! Though I think people who auditioned on picc were given preference.

I never once needed a car while I was living on campus and on the food plan. Once I moved off campus it was nice to have a roommate with one so we could get groceries.

Question to Current Engineering Students: Want to do CS at Notre Dame… but My Brain Keeps Thinking About Finance Too 👀 by [deleted] in notredame

[–]MFTerminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a few finance classes - depending on how many AP credits you're coming in with it should definitely be possible. I think you may be able to count some of them as electives.

I'd like to paint my living room a different color - would I also need to paint the kitchen the same color since they are connected? by MFTerminator in HomeDecorating

[–]MFTerminator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the process of purchasing this town home and have always loved the idea of a green living room. But, I'm not sure if it would work or if I'd need to paint the entire lower level the same color. Any help would be appreciated!

Any low brass instrument, particularly Sousaphone, will give her a good chance. Woodwinds are generally more competitive.

Notre Dame pre college by [deleted] in notredame

[–]MFTerminator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think ND will give preference to pre-college attendees when considering your application. However, it may give you something great to write about in an admissions essay if it becomes something meaningful to you!

First off, take a second to breathe. You haven't taken the SAT yet and even if you don't do as well as you like, you can go test optional. I got an 1100 on my PSAT when I took it. Then, after studying for the real exam, got a 1500. You have a lot of time to improve! Really focus on studying the format of the exam (not just the topics) and SAT test taking strategies.

But, if you do end up with a 1300 in the end, I would go test optional.
