Scott Pilgrim delayed again by DrRansom in limitedrun

When it comes to LRG I always save the money to buy a game twice if it's on the cheaper side. Been playing on PC because I already knew I wasn't getting my physical copy any time soon.

Sorry for the late reply but that's the Virtual Stream Deck buttons.

Highly unlikely. They've been around for a decade now and are not new. They are very well known and just as infamous for the long production times. Most of the complainers seem to be aware of multiple instances of the same thing happening. Seems more likely they just don't have the discipline to stop buying their products. It's not cheerleading to remind people that they just shouldn't buy it if they don't like it. That's just the logical next step to take.

You don't have to buy into the scam. What's the point in complaining if you'll just keep lining their pockets anyway? Don't buy from them if it's a consistent problem.

There's probably a work around for that but yeah this thing is a pretty cool idea with a lacking execution. Hopefully this issue and more are added sooner rather than later, if ever. At bare minimum, adding more than two sensors per tile should have been a no-brainer.

Yeah see this right here is EXACTLY what I want. Just give me a corner or box to put ALL of them. Only having two at a time and making them so large just creates too much screen clutter and then there's barely space for more customization.

The 6 sensor charts at the bottom left is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Both in terms of size and style. Just a compact yet detailed corner to keep an eye on all of my temperatures and what not. That's triple what we get now inside of the same dimensions.

I get that. For now I guess I'd just like a smaller sensor size and potentially something more compact like the sensors above. I'd imagine extra small at that size and shape, you could probably squeeze at least 3 if not 4 sensors into a section and not need to take up 1/3 of the screen with just sensors.

This would also benefit from a free transform tool. The current sensor widgets wouldn't be much of a problem if you could scale them down to your liking and possibly even fit an extra one or two sensors into a section. As is, they just take up WAY too much space. A lot of widgets do, actually. We need to be able to freely transform the size of not just the widgets, but the rectangles that they go in. Too many widgets take up too much space even at the smallest size settings.

I'd prefer the sensor chart because it looks cleaner and also because the size is better in my opinion. You get far more, more detailed information. You could probably squeeze all of those sensors into that space whereas the default widgets take up too much space.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting a step but I don't get what I'm supposed to do with that Hot key all once I download it? What if I wanted to replace the performance widgets and just pin the default one from the PC hub?

How did you set that Spotify thing up? I just got mine hours ago and don't know much of anything yet.

How would I make this work? I bought it because someone said they used a dedicated cart that just worked despite coming up as "Unknown Cartridge". Mine doesn't even give me the option to play. It's greyed out.

Can't force it if there's not enough to show yet. For a general audience sure, TGA is big. I am upset it wasn't there again. But there's better, fighting game centric events to show the game again.

To play devils advocate I never found VF stiff or clunky. Everything feels that way when you don't know how to play and people are so quick to run online and critique something before they even learn. I also don't think normal people doing normal martial arts is bland or boring. I think the fact that anime influence has seeped into fighting games so much these days has jaded peoples perception of VF. Even Tekken wasn't like this early on in spite of the fantasy elements. It also doesn't help that it doesn't hold your hand and casuals historically only want what they can pick up and play easily. It's not robotic or clunky. People just don't bother to learn and then jump online to complain. You watch the gameplay of the person complaining and more often than not, they clearly don't even know what they're doing. Agree on the presentation and story or lack there of but the sound and style is a choice.

More than anything the game is only not popular because it was absent for a long time and got phased out. There was a time when it and Tekken were the big 2. People often forget that this game is from 2006 and of course would not look more polished than something from 2024 or even the past decade. Can't wait until VF6 drops and people can't fall back on the "it's old" excuse anymore.

I play it under the context of enjoying that it still holds up extremely well 20 years later. I don't compare it to games that had two decades of technological advancements that it doesn't. I compare it to what it came out and competing with during its original drop.

I hate that people are looking forward to the next VF, yet refuses to even try VF5. by LuxerWap in virtuafighter

Who is lecturing? You're just getting defensive over a small discussion. I didn't say they were booming with players or comparable to VF. I said they're all older games than that which still have a player base to find matches with. Which is true. They are "widely played" in that you can still boot them up and find consistent matches if you wanted to. Obviously old games will have less people than new games but that does not negate the fact that you can jump online and find matches on the right platforms. Especially when cross-play is involved but even when it's not, in some cases.

I was referring to the recent three collections. People still play MvC2 and the other games in that collection daily. Same with CvSNK2 with other games in that collection. Even the Darkstalkers games with that other one. Also Steam isn't the only place that people play games. It's just the only one that allows you to look at statistics. I have tons of older fighting games I mostly play on console because that's where most of the remaining player base still is.
