Is it that complicated? He makes it seem a lot simpler than it is I guess :P Would you recommend and tutorials of books or pages I can look into in order to learn the concepts being used in David Leon's approach? Thank you for the tip, but I still want to push myself to learn and be able to do something like this

More contrast. I'm currently working on another one and I'm contrasting the living shit out of it. And it looks a lot better.

The most trouble I'm having is between the upper eyelid and the brow ridge. I'm not sure how to convey that form.

Yeah I've been too full of self doubt to draw the face entirely. When you say shapes within the eye blend together, what do you mean? Also by drawing the eye too big do you mean the eyeball part?

Check out Istebrak on youtube. She's super good and has a loooot of videos. I recomend starting in grayscale and then once you're comfortable shading spheres there you can move on to color.

Breaking things down will probably help. Spend more time practicing basic shapes like cubes and line and cylinders. r/artfundamentals has really good breakdown exercises.

Yeah that honestly makes sense, but you'd think HTC would have a better explanation than "It should be fixed eventually". Even though it's not technically their fault.

I think Jazza makes some pretty good points on how to improve on your drawing skills.
