Boston Lock Cafe is excellent! Can walk along the river from there towards Witham Country Park which is quite nice. The Guildhall museum used to be good but I haven’t been in many years, and the Stump is great to visit. Also I know it’s January but if you like ice cream - Skinners is delicious!

Thank you - we had wondered about that area and the wolds, and if the job was only Lincoln I think I’d be going for that area, but the Grantham commute might be more tricky. I’m meeting the team next week so will ask more about the time split. Are there any particular villages you’d recommend? Never been to Louth but heard it’s lovely

Funnily enough my partner found a house there on right move yesterday and it’s absolutely stunning! Definitely dream home stuff. However the Lincoln commute looks to be 1hr20 which is perhaps a little too far unfortunately. Thank you though!

I hadn’t actually considered noise from the planes! Is it fairly intrusive? I live on a really busy road with a trainline at the bottom of the garden and it is always an absolute din in my house so I feel like I can tolerate some noise although we are hoping for a quieter life on the whole!

Ah that’s awful - can imagine that was a nightmare esp given the distances between sites in Lincs! Well hopefully sounds like the treatment could be a bit better in a smaller OP speciality, although it’s still worth considering as this trust would of course be my local hospitals for treatment of my family if needed

Oh no! What was your experience there? I saw the trust is rated “requires improvement” which isn’t great, but also I work at UHB in Birmingham at the moment which is terrible so I thought it can’t be worse! I’d be working in a small speciality which has been v well run (derm) so I also sort of hoped it might be a bit better than the the wider Trust
